Abstract:
Featured is a spectral analysis method and a wide spectral range spectrometer including a source of electromagnetic radiation and an optical subsystem configured to disperse radiation into a plurality of wavelengths. A pixilated light modulator receives the radiation wavelengths and is configured to direct one or more selective wavelengths to a sample.
Abstract:
An optical arrangement and a related method for operating this optical arrangement are suggested, particularly in microscopes, for use as at least one of a main beam splitter and a beam combiner. One or more light beams can be coupled into the arrangement and at least one of the light beams that were coupled in can be coupled out again after having passed through the optical arrangement. In the path of the coupled in light beams at least one controllable microstructured element is provided, allowing to switch beam paths within the optical arrangement. This allows controlling or influencing the one or more light beams that are coupled out.
Abstract:
A spectroscope includes an emitting portion from where light is output, a dispersive element which is disposed on a side of the light emitting portion, to which the light is output, an incidence portion on which, light dispersed by the dispersive element is incident, and a temperature-compensating element which is disposed between the emitting portion and the incidence portion, and which is such that, an angle of incidence of the light dispersed on the incidence portion becomes almost constant with respect to a change in temperature in an operating temperature range. Moreover, the optical apparatus has such spectroscope in which temperature is compensated.
