摘要: Devices and methods for determining item-specific information for single or multiple items on one or multiple substrates are described. The method includes generating multiple sensor multiple dimensions array (MSMDA) data from multiple sensors, where each of the multiple sensors capture sensor data for one or more items in relation to a substrate. For each item, the method includes determining relationships between the multiple sensors based on characteristics of the MSMDA data, determining a location of the item on the substrate based on at least the determined relationships between the multiple sensors, determining an angular orientation of the item on the substrate based on at least the determined relationships between the multiple sensors, and determining a body position of the subject on the substrate based at least the determined relationships between the multiple sensors, the location of the subject, and the angular orientation of the item.

摘要: A bed comprises substrate support members, each including a load bearing and a base configured to provide contact with a floor. The load bearing member is configured to move vertically relative to the base, while the base and the load bearing member are configured to fit together to maintain lateral alignment of the base and the load bearing member. A load sensor is positioned between the base and the load bearing member, the load bearing member configured to transmit a load from the substrate to the load sensor. A printed circuit board is in communication with the load sensor. A controller is in communication with the printed circuit board of each substrate support member and is configured to receive and process data output by the printed circuit boards.

摘要: A load cell assembly for an electronic scale may include a substantially flat plate having an outer portion and a load cell aperture defining an inner portion having a deflectable member. A sensor may be disposed on the deflectable member responsive to deflection of the deflectable member. A housing may be configured to engage the outer portion of the load cell and hold the load cell. A foot member may include a bottom portion for contacting the surface upon which the electronic scale is sitting and a top portion including an upwardly depending foot member wall for contacting the inner portion of the load cell and foot member snap fit engagement members configured to engage the inner portion of the load cell, the upwardly depending foot member wall and the foot member snap fit engagement members resisting lateral movement of the foot member relative to the load cell.

摘要: A system for adjusting the firmness of a substrate configured to support a subject includes a first rod configured to be movable by a mechanism, a second rod parallel to and spaced from the first rod a distance that spans a majority of a dimension of the substrate, and flexible straps extending between the first rod and the second rod and attached to the first rod and the second rod at respective ends of each flexible strap. The mechanism is configured to move the first rod in a first direction to increase tension on the flexible straps and move the first rod in a second direction to decrease tension on the flexible straps. The mechanism can be manually operated by the subject or can be a motor that is controlled by a controller.

摘要: Devices and methods for generating synthetic cardio-respiratory signals from one or more ballistocardiogram (BCG) sensors. A method for determining item specific parameters includes obtaining ballistocardiogram (BCG) data from one or more sensors, where the one or more sensors capture BCG data for one or more subjects in relation to a substrate. For each subject, the captured BCG data is pre-processed to obtain cardio-respiratory BCG data. The cardio-respiratory BCG data is sub-sampled to generate the cardio-respiratory BCG data at a cardio-respiratory sampling rate conducive to cardio-respiratory signal generation. The sub-sampled cardio-respiratory BCG data is cardio-respiratory processed to generate a cardio-respiratory parameter set. A synthetic cardio-respiratory signal is generated from at least the cardio-respiratory parameter set and a cardio-respiratory event morphology template. A condition of the subject is determined based on the synthetic cardio-respiratory signal.

摘要: A low-profile platform scale has a horizontal base, a lower primary U-shaped lever, an upper secondary U-shaped lever, a horizontal platform, and load cell means mounted on the base. The base has a unitary structure including a front pair and a rear pair of modified vertical angle irons connected to the ends of a horizontal shallow rectangular tubing and supporting short inverted channel irons each with one leg shorter than the other, to provide a pair of spaced upstanding portions of the base at the central part of the front and rear margins of the base with a portion of the short flanges and a portion of the long flanges of the pair of channel irons providing mounting means at upper and lower elevations as vertical flat surfaces facing the ends of the scale. These flat surfaces are at two transverse vertical planes. The lower and upper levers are constructed primarily of rectangular tubing connected in a unitary manner with the levers pivotally mounted by flexure plates on these vertical surfaces of the channel irons of the base with the pairs of lever arms of the levers extending in opposite directions to the corner portions of the scale. The primary lever has another rectangular tubing in its unitary construction as an intermediate arm extending opposite direction to its pair of levers. The secondary lever has a short intermediate extension in opposite direction to its pair of lever arms and above the intermediate arm of the primary lever. That extension is connected by a flexible cable to the intermediate arm of the primary lever. The distal end portion of the intermediate arm is connected by a flexible cable to the load cell. The platform has a unitary construction including a horizontal rectangular hollow ring having front and rear portions and end portions, downwardly extending vertical angle irons connected to the ring at its corners, front and rear rods between and connected to the bottom portions of the vertical angle irons, and a pair of tubes at the end portions of the platform between and connected to the bottom portions of the angle irons and extending below the distal portions of the lever arms of the primary and secondary levers. This pair of tubes are connected to the pairs of lever arms of the two levers by flexible cables.

摘要: A system for measuring data specific to a subject using gravity comprises a substrate on which a subject lies, the substrate having multiple legs extending from the substrate to a floor to support the substrate, and load sensor assemblies. Each load sensor assembly is associated with a respective leg and comprises a cap configured to receive a load from the substrate, a base configured to provide contact with the floor, the base and cap configured to fit together to maintain alignment of the cap to the base while allowing vertical movement of the cap, a load cell between the base and the cap, one of the base and cap configured to translate the load to the load cell and a printed circuit board that processes and outputs data from the load cell, wherein a combination of all load sensor assemblies receive an entire load to which the substrate is subjected.

摘要: An integrated high-precision weighing module has a shell, an electromagnetic force sensor, a printed circuit board (PCB), a weighing pan component, a support ring, and an air baffle ring. The electromagnetic force sensor and the PCB are mounted in the shell. A bearing head of the electromagnetic force sensor extends upward from an upper end portion of the shell. The support ring sheathes the bearing head. The weighing pan component is mounted on the bearing head, with the support ring located between the weighing pan component and the shell. The air baffle ring is disposed around the weighing pan component and located on the support ring. A first airflow channel is formed among the shell, the support ring, and the air baffle ring. At least part of airflow in the shell flows to the outside through the first airflow channel.
