摘要: Systems and methods for speech-controlled or speech-enabled health monitoring of a subject are described. A device includes a substrate configured to support a subject, a plurality of non-contact sensors configured to capture acoustic signals and force signals with respect to the subject, an audio interface configured to communicate with the subject, and a processor in connection with the plurality of sensors and the audio interface. The processor configured to determine biosignals from one or more of the acoustic signals and the force signals to monitor a subject's health status, and detect presence of speech in the acoustic signals. The audio interface configured to interactively communicate with at least one of the subject or an entity associated with the subject based on at least one of an action needed due to the subject's health status and a verbal command in detected speech.

摘要: A first controller is in data communication with a first pressure sensor and is configured to receive first pressure readings, and transmit the first pressure readings. The system further includes a second controller in data communication with the second pressure sensor, the controller configured to receive one or more presence classifiers. The second controller is further configured to run the received presence classifiers on second pressure readings in order to collect one or more presence votes from the running presence classifiers. The second controller is further configured to determine, from the one or more presence votes, a presence state of a user on the second bed. The second controller is further configured to responsive to the determined presence state; operate the bed system according to the determined presence state.

摘要: A system for measuring data specific to a subject using gravity comprises a substrate on which a subject lies, the substrate having multiple legs extending from the substrate to a floor to support the substrate, and load sensor assemblies. Each load sensor assembly is associated with a respective leg and comprises a cap configured to receive a load from the substrate, a base configured to provide contact with the floor, the base and cap configured to fit together to maintain alignment of the cap to the base while allowing vertical movement of the cap, a load cell between the base and the cap, one of the base and cap configured to translate the load to the load cell and a printed circuit board that processes and outputs data from the load cell, wherein a combination of all load sensor assemblies receive an entire load to which the substrate is subjected.

摘要: A mattress has a first support portion configure to receive and support a first user and a second support portion configured to receive and support a second user. The first support portion and the second support portion are adjacent to each other such that the first user is capable of rolling over from the first support portion to the second support portion while sleeping on the first support portion. A sensor is configured to sense first pressure in the first support portion and sense second pressure in the second support portion. The sensor is further configured to transmit data of the first pressure and the second pressure. The controller is configured to receive the data and from the data of the first pressure and the second pressure, determine if the first user has rolled over from the first support portion to the second support portion.
