    摘要: A method for operating a refrigeration system for a container to pull down the temperature of cargo from ambient to a predetermined set-point temperature, and a system employing the method. The method includes operating a compressor at a first power to compress a refrigerant and direct the refrigerant through a condenser and an evaporator of the refrigeration system, initially operating an evaporator fan at a first speed to supply refrigerated supply air from the evaporator to the cargo within the container, sensing the temperature of the supply air, comparing the temperature of the supply air with a predetermined set-point temperature, and increasing the speed of the evaporator fan to a second speed faster than the first when the temperature of the supply air is lower than the predetermined set-point temperature to maintain the temperature of the supply air at the predetermined set-point temperature.

    摘要: A refrigerator freezer having an upper refrigerator compartment and a lower below freezing freezer compartment. The upper compartment can be a convertible compartment selectively operable by the user as an above freezing refrigerator compartment or as a below freezing freezer compartment. The evaporator for supplying refrigerated air is located in the upper compartment along with an auxiliary heater and upper compartment thermostat to control the temperature in the upper compartment. A control discharges an amount of refrigerated air to the upper compartment for refrigerator operation and a larger amount of refrigerated air for freezer operation. The control also energizes the auxiliary heater under control of the upper compartment thermostat during refrigerator operation to assure above freezing temperatures in the upper compartment. A low ambient heater can be provided for the upper compartment for use of the refrigerator freezer in low ambient temperature conditions such as an unheated garage.

    摘要: A refrigerator having at least one storage compartment, an evaporator cooling the storage compartment, a compressor, and a compressor driving part supplying electric power to the compressor, comprising: a heater heating a part of the refrigerator; a heater driving part supplying electric power to the heater; a temperature sensor sensing an inside temperature of the storage compartment and a controller controlling the heater driving part to turn off the heater when the inside temperature of the storage compartment sensed by the temperature sensor rises beyond a preset temperature in a state that the compressor is operated by the compressor driving part and cool air is supplied to the storage compartment through the evaporator. With this configuration, a refrigerator is provided which can minimize a rise in the inside temperature thereof when the compressor stops due to trouble, and restarts the compressor stably.

    摘要: A cooling container having a coolant chamber and a product chamber. Cooling gases from the coolant chamber circulate between the coolant chamber and the product chamber to retain the latter at a desired low temperature. In one embodiment the cooling gases flow through a radiator disposed in the product chamber. In another embodiment a heat exchanger is provided on a divider wall between the coolant chamber and the product chamber. When a temperature sensor detects that the temperature in the product chamber exceeds a temperature set point, a controller opens valves that allow cool gases in the coolant chamber to circulate through the radiator or across the heat exchanger to lower the temperature in the product chamber.

This system calculates an operation rate of a compressor installed in the refrigerating apparatus, and controls operation of the compressor based on the calculated operation rate, thus obviating the need for an outside air temperature sensor and a damper to accurately control temperature. A heat generating lamp may be positioned in the chilling chamber to further regulate chilling chamber temperature. Operation of the heat generating lamp is also controlled based on the operation rate of the compressor.
