摘要: Invented is a Resource Tower that uses water electrolysis to separate out its elemental and purified H2 hydrogen gas and O2 oxygen gas. These gases form a pressurized flow for electricity generation for distribution and transport to heights atop the Resource Tower. Core advancements of this invention are the use of fuel cells at the top of the Resource Tower to electrochemically combine hydrogen gas and oxygen gas to produce electricity, heat, and water. The Resource Tower distributes the electricity, converts heat and water to steam to generate additional electricity for distribution, and ultimately coalesces the steam back to water at a height. The water that falls under acceleration of gravity from atop the Resource Tower is used to generate additional electricity for distribution. In addition to multiple sites of electricity generation for distribution, the purity of hydrogen gas and oxygen gas from water electrolysis is retained and the water resulting from the Resource Tower is purified and potable for distribution.

摘要: An evaporative heat exchanger including a plurality of parallel flow passages extending through the heat exchanger and together defining a first fluid flow path, and a plurality of substantially parallel stacked plates interleaved with the parallel flow passages. Each plate can have first, second, and third sets of flow channels, a first collection manifold adjacent to an end of the plate and connecting the first and second passes, and a second collection manifold. The second collection manifold can intersect the second set of flow channels and at least some of the third set of flow channels. The plate separates the first set of flow channels from the second collection manifold.

摘要: A Power Chamber that effectively and rapidly mixes within itself the heated air and combustion products from burning of a heat producing fuel with the injected and atomized spray of a “liquid cryogenic fuel”. This regulated and efficiently balanced mixing causes rapid expansion of the cryogenic fluid within the Power Chamber which creates rapid pressure build-up. The excess pressure that is built-up over the threshold point of the minimum operating pressure within the power chamber is channeled, via the mechanism of a door or a gate or a valve, through the Pressure Delivery Channel and made available for use to create motive power or some other kind of useful work.

摘要: A method for releasing an anhydrous gas in a gas phase at a target rate includes the step of obtaining a vessel at least partially filled with the anhydrous gas. The anhydrous gas is at least partially in a liquid phase and the vessel has an outlet for releasing the anhydrous gas in the gas phase. The method further includes releasing at least a portion of the anhydrous gas from the vessel through the outlet in the gas phase; applying a heat transfer fluid having a temperature of 32° F. to 150° F. to an exterior surface of the vessel during the releasing step, such that the anhydrous gas in the liquid phase is evaporated and the anhydrous gas in the gas phase is released at the target rate; and measuring starting and end weights of the vessel to monitor the releasing of the anhydrous gas in the gas phase.

摘要: Methods and systems generate steam for thermal oil recovery, such as a steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) operation. Feedwater is first pressurized to a pressure above that desired for steam injection in the SAGD operation before being heated to avoid at least some nucleate boiling. After being throttled, the local boiling regime is beyond the nucleate boiling regime due to the local pressure drop and the enhanced mixing caused by the throttling process. Two-phase liquid may continue through the boiler generating higher quality steam.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for the low energy flash-like vaporization of liquids and the release of the resulting vaporized liquid into the atmosphere in the form of a visible plume, mist or cloud. 摘要: An apparatus for reacting a semiconductor wafer with steam includes a reaction tube and a heater for heating the reaction tube. The reaction tube is divided into three chambers by partition plates having a through hole. Pure water is directly supplied into the most upstream chamber and is evaporated into steam. The steam enters the second chamber and further heated therein into superheated steam. The superheated steam enters the most downstream chamber in which a semiconductor wafer or wafers are placed, and is heated sufficient for reaction with the wafer to form an oxide film thereon.
