摘要: The transmission comprises a chainring (12) rotatable around an axis of rotation (x), at least one sprocket (13) and a chain (14) for transmitting to said at least one sprocket (13) the rotary motion of the chainring (12) around the axis of rotation (x). The chainring (12) comprises a disc (16) and a plurality of meshing devices (22; 122) which are mounted in radially movable manner on the disc (16) and are arranged to enable engagement of the disc (16) with the chain (14) for transmitting motion from the chainring (12) to the at least one sprocket (13) by means of the chain (14). The transmission further comprises shifting means (18, 60) for varying the radial position of the meshing devices (22; 122) in order to change the transmission ratio with which the chainring (12) transmits motion to the at least one sprocket (13). Each meshing device (22; 122) comprises a support body (24; 124) and a tilting fork (28; 128) which is supported on the respective support body (24; 124) for tilting around a first tilting axis (x′) parallel to the axis of rotation (x) of the chainring (12), and comprises at least one tooth (28a; 128a) for engaging a link (14a) of the chain (14). Each meshing device (22; 122) further comprises braking means (32, 38, 40; 132, 138, 140, 178) for preventing the respective tilting fork (28; 128) from tilting around the first tilting axis (x′).

摘要: A stepless transmission transmits a driving force by an endless transmission member (5) wound around a V-groove (6) of an input pulley (1). The input pulley (1) has moving parts (9) which are fastened by threaded engagement so as to be axially movable with respect to a transmission case (3) and have ring gears (10), to which rotation can be input from the outer periphery sides, and pulley half discs (13) which are relatively rotatable with respect to the moving parts (9), which axially move integrally with the moving parts (9) and which are contactable with an endless transmission member (5). The pulley half discs (13) and an input shaft 2, which is disposed at the center of the pulley half discs (13), rotate together as one piece. The ring gears (10) are each rotationally driven from a drive source of the same drive member.

摘要: A belt wave drive transmission system and method are shown involving a first rotor (10) having a first drum configured to rotate about its axis of rotation and a second rotor (20) having a second drum configured to rotate about its axis of rotation, where the first rotor (10) is constrained to orbit concentrically about the axis of rotation of the second drum. A belt (30) encircles the first and second drums to couple the first (10) and second (20) rotors such that the first rotor (10) moves concentrically around the second rotor (20) as the belt (30) advances about a circumference of the second drum. In further refinements, the system and method involve electrically controllably coupling at least one of the first and second rotors to the belt.

摘要: A drive pulley for a CVT has a fixed sheave, a fixed sheave shaft fixedly connected to the fixed sheave, a movable sheave, a movable sheave shaft fixedly connected to the movable sheave, a spider and at least one centrifugal actuator. The fixed sheave shaft is disposed at least in part inside the movable sheave shaft. The movable sheave is disposed axially between the spider and the fixed sheave. A biasing member biases the movable sheave axially away from the fixed sheave. A torque transfer assembly is operatively connected to at least one of the fixed sheave and the movable sheave. The torque transfer assembly transfers torque between the fixed sheave and the movable sheave. The biasing member, the at least one centrifugal actuator and the torque transfer assembly are disposed radially outward of the fixed and movable sheave shafts.

摘要: A variable-speed belt drive pulley assembly includes a plurality of pulley segments, a plurality of sliders, and a rotatable hub. Each segment is adapted to engage a drive belt and is mounted to an outer end of a corresponding slider which is slidably received by the hub. Each slider may be a pair of rods extending from the body in parallel relationship to each other. The hub has a plurality of bores. Each bore slidably receives a corresponding one of the rods. An actuator device moves the segments radially inwardly and outwardly with respect to the hub. A coil spring is mounted on each the rods, and is biased to urge one of the segments radially outwardly.

摘要: A segmented pulley transmission is provided. A pulley assembly is rotationally mounted on an axle. The pulley assembly includes a core pulley having a first set of mating features on a peripheral surface thereof. A pulley segment set comprises a number of pulley segments slidably mounted in the pulley assembly and arranged in a ring concentric with the core pulley. The pulley segments are individually actuatable out of the pulley assembly into an engaging position and into the pulley assembly into a non-engaging position. The pulley segments have a second set of mating features on an peripheral surface matching the first set of mating features. An endless drive member has corresponding mating features on an inside surface for engaging the first and second sets of mating features of the core pulley and the pulley segments in an engaging position. Contact between the endless drive member and a core pulley defines a contact zone. An actuator actuates the pulley segments between the engaging and nun-engaging positions when the pulley segments are outside of the contact zone. One of the key pulley segments in the pulley segment set is a key pulley segment that is positioned relative to the core pulley such that when the key pulley segment is actuated to the engaging position and rotated into the contact zone, the corresponding mating features of the endless drive member engage the first set of mating features of the core pulley and the second set of mating features of the key pulley segment without the introduction of significant slack or tension.

One of the pulley segments [48] in the pulley segment set is a key pulley segment [48a] that is positioned relative to the care pulley [45] such that when the key pulley segment [48a] is actuated to the engaging position and rotated into the contact zone [CZ], the corresponding mating features of the endless drive member [47] engage the first set of mating features of the core pulley [45] and the second set of mating features [52] of the key pulley segment [48a] without the introduction of significant slack or tension.
