    摘要: A linear-motion telescopic mechanism according to the present invention includes a plurality of block members (22) by which an arbitrary arm length is achieved in such a manner that the plurality of block member (22) are rigidly connected to each other so as to elongate a linear-motion telescopic joint (J3). On the other hand, by separating the plurality of block members (22) one by one from a rigid alignment of the plurality of block members (22), the linear-motion telescopic joint (J3) is contracted. The block members (22) unfixed from the rigid alignment are still serially connected but not in a rigid manner. That is, the block members (22) thus unfixed can be flexed in any directions, and therefore can be housed inside a support member (1) in a compact manner. This arrangement can provide a linear-motion telescopic mechanism (i) which enhances safety by eliminating such a risk, inevitable for a typical robot arm having an elbow joint, that an object around the robot arm gets caught between arm sections when the elbow joint is closed, and (ii) which can reduce a space to be occupied by the robot arm.

    摘要: A mechanical oscillator including a shaft having an endless groove in its periphery, a nut body carried by and slidable along the shaft at the location of the endless groove, and a roller pin carried by the nut body, having a nose portion extending into and engaging a wall of the endless groove and having a tail portion disposed deeply in the nut body. A plurality of anti-friction bearings is carried by the nut body, the bearings carrying the roller pin. The anti-friction bearings include both a ball bearing and a needle bearing, the ball bearing being disposed adjacent the nose portion of the roller pin, and the needle bearing being located adjacent the ball bearing and engaged with a tail portion of the roller pin. Multiple roller pins can be used, carried on two carrier strips respectively, which are axially displaced and disposed at opposite sides of the nut body. The carrier strips and associated roller pins can be removed as units, thereby simplifying replacement as required by damage or wear.

    摘要: A driving device for producing substantially linear movement of a driver comprises a shaftless spiral rotatable around its longitudinal axis. The spiral encloses at least one sliding body which is provided with at least one element projecting from the sliding body which passes between two adjoining turns of the spiral. The sliding body co-operates with an element secured against rotational movement which prevents the sliding body from rotating with the spiral. An elongated element oriented in the axial direction of the spiral is connected at one end to the sliding body and at its other end to the element which is secured against rotational movement to form the driver. Upon rotation of the spiral, the sliding body and thereby the driver are moved in the axial direction of the spiral for moving the element secured against rotational movement.

    摘要: In an actuator, a carriage coupled to an item to be displaced with a translatory movement comprises a follower element which defines contact surfaces engaged against the flanks of the thread of a micrometric screw. The contact surfaces co-operate with the thread of the screw only over a small angular portion thereof. The follower element of the carriage is held on the thread of the screw by resilient thrust means acting on the carriage so as to urge it pivotally about an axis (X--X) which is parallel to its direction of translatory movement, being prevented from moving in all the other degrees of freedom. The actuator is especially adapted for use in translator devices in which the level of precision is of the order of a micrometer.
