A method is provided for controlling the hydraulic actuator.

    摘要: A hydraulic circuit controls flow of fluid between first and second ports of a hydraulic actuator, such as a cylinder/piston arrangement and each of a supply conduit and a tank return conduit. The hydraulic circuit operates in standard powered operating modes as well as powered and unpowered regeneration modes. In a powered operating mode, a conventional pressure compensated spool valve determines the velocity of the hydraulic actuator. A workport blocking valve connects one workport of the spool valve to the first port and the other workport is connected to the second port. A regeneration shunt valve is directly connected between the first and second ports of the hydraulic actuator. In a regeneration operating mode or a mix of powered and regeneration modes, a combination of the spool valve, the workport blocking valve, and the regeneration shunt valve determines the velocity of the hydraulic actuator.

    摘要: The elevation of a tool carried by an implement towed by a tractor is determined by a hydraulic motor mounted on the implement adjusting the wheel height. A servo valve mounted on the tractor responsive to line pressure controls the hydraulic motor. An operator actuated vent valve mounted on the tractor vents line pressure to control the servo valve. A tool elevation responsive feedback vent valve mounted on the implement increasingly vents line pressure as the hydraulic motor changes tool elevation, to negate the effect of venting by the operator actuated vent valve. When hydraulic motor movement equals movement of the operator actuated vent valve, the feedback venting equals that of the operator actuated bent valve. A second negative feedback on the servo motor pistons then returns the servo valve to neutral closed position and change in tool elevation stops. A load sensor in the connection between the tractor and towed implement responds to tension in excess of an adjustable pressure determined tension to raise the tool until the tension drops, whereupon the tool level returns to its initial level. The direction of the tool may also be varied in response to the speed of the tractor motor.

    摘要: Two fluid passages are connected through flow restrictors to a fluid supply. Downstream of the restrictors the fluid supply has a drooping pressure-load characteristic. Venting means for the fluid passages comprises vent openings therein downstream of the restrictors and variable position obstructor means cooperating with vent openings to vary venting and thereby vary fluid pressures in the fluid passages.Fluid conduits connect these pressure outputs to a double acting piston moving in a cylinder whose opposite ends are connected to the fluid conduits. The piston and cylinder form the responder of the system.A receiver is formed by a piston and cylinder or other fluidic motor remotely fluidically connected to the responder, the motor driving a load.A feedback means controlled by the position of the responder piston and/or the load varies pressure in the fluid conduits by variably venting same.Both rotary and linear types of transmitters and load feedback means and receivers may be used.The transmitter may vary the pressure in each of two lines, but directly varying the pressure in only one line at a time, and may be operated by a single control or by two controls, each varying the pressure in one line, or by one control varying the restriction and the other selecting the line, and may be used to operate a swash plate pump/motor load, with pressure override and emergency stop controls.The responder may form an annular space between each piston land and either side of a cylinder flange.

    摘要: A hydrostatic pump unit is located within a housing which serves also as a hydraulic fluid sump. A displacement control valve for controlling actuators for adjusting the angular position of a swashplate of the pump unit is mounted on the exterior of the housing. Disposed along the axis about which the swashplate is adjustable and joining the swashplate to a shiftable sleeve of the control valve is a feedback shaft which acts to return the valve to a null condition when the swashplate arrives at a commanded new displacement effecting position. The feedback shaft has a passage extending therethrough which acts as a drain connection between the valve and the sump defined by the housing. A check valve is located in the passage for preventing fluid from draining from the housing when the valve is disconnected from the feedback shaft for service.

    摘要: A combined feedback control system for a servo actuator including a ram that produces a mechanical displacement output of the system as directed by a position command signal. In the combined feedback control system a lever arrangement mechanically combines displacement and velocity information of the ram, and such combined information is conveniently transduced and electrically combined with the position command signal to develop an error signal that controls an electro-hydraulic valve. The latter preferably through a fluid amplification stage controls the delivery of fluid to the ram and, thus, the position thereof. Through the lever arrangement a mechanical failure control is operative to move the ram to a predetermined position upon failure of the electro-hydraulic valve and a manual control is operable to control the ram position via the fluid amplification stage.
