摘要: A gas turbine cogeneration system includes a denitration control part for outputting to a denitration device a control command to set the amount of NOx emissions at a heat recovery steam generator outlet not more than a boiler outlet target value. The denitration control part is configured to generate the control command with reference to at least a first addition amount of a reducing agent obtained by calculation based on a NOx parameter which is a parameter correlated with the amount of NOx emissions at a turbine outlet.

摘要: Combustion turbine control systems are configured to operate combustion turbine systems in partial or no load while meeting emission targets. The combustion turbine system includes a combustion turbine, an electrical generator, a combustion turbine controller, a catalyst assembly, and/or other relevant equipment. Based on given operating constraints, such as load conditions and emission regulations, the combustion turbine controller may execute corresponding actions to control certain gas concentrations and/or gas mass flows in the exhaust gases in compliance with emission regulations. The corresponding actions may include, but are not limited to: controlling fuel and/or diluent injection(s) to combustor(s) to control combustion (e.g., combustion temperature) to manage combustion gas contents exiting from the combustor, controlling compressor bleed valve(s) to control the combustion temperature, controlling the catalyst assembly to process exhaust gases to be released into the environment, or a combination thereof.

摘要: Embodiments of emission reduction system including various embodiments of an emission filters for a power plant including a gas turbine are disclosed. The system includes: an emission filter; and a retraction system operably coupled to an exhaust passage of the gas turbine. The exhaust passage defines an exhaust path of exhaust from the gas turbine. The retraction system selectively moves the emission filter between a first location within the exhaust path and a second location out of the exhaust path. In a combined cycle power plant, the first location is upstream of a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). The systems and filters described allow for temporary positioning of emission filter(s) just downstream of a gas turbine exhaust outlet, or upstream of an HRSG, where provided, for emission reduction at low loads or startup conditions, and removal of the emission filter(s) once operations move to higher loads.

摘要: Methods and systems for processing a signal indicative of at least one operating condition of a gas turbine engine to remove noise associated therewith are provided. The method and systems receive a signal from one or more sensors operably coupled to a gas turbine engine, retrieves one or more known system parameters and a previously determined average signal, and processes the signal using the system parameter and the previously determined average signal to remove noise therefrom. In some of the described methods and systems, the processed signal is then compared to predetermined upper and lower limits, and, if the processed signal exceeds the limits, at least one component of the gas turbine engine, such as a fuel-flow split, is adjusted in an effort to bring the signal back within the limits.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for automatically tuning a combustor of a gas turbine engine during a transient period, such as when a state of the gas turbine engine is changing. Once it has been determined whether the state of the gas turbine engine is changing, it is then determined whether a lean blowout is imminent, which is based conditions being monitored. A stability bias is applied to the system if either the state is changing or if lean blowout is imminent until the lean blowout is no longer determined to be imminent. The stability bias monitors operating conditions of the gas turbine engine and determines when one of the operating conditions has overcome a threshold value. Once a threshold value is overcome, a fuel flow fraction is adjusted by a predefined increment. The application of the stability bias is gradually terminated once it is determined that the lean blowout is no longer imminent.

摘要: Commanding GTs to base load level based upon measured ambient condition for each GT; commanding each GT to adjust a power output to match scaled power output value equal to a fraction of a difference between the respective power output and a nominal power output value, and measuring actual emissions value for each GT during the adjusting of the respective power output; and adjusting an operating condition of each GT in the set of GTs based upon a difference between the respective measured actual emissions value, a nominal emissions value at the ambient condition and an emissions scale factor, wherein the nominal emissions value at the ambient condition and the emissions scale factor are stored in a pre-existing emissions model for the GT.
