摘要: A system for generating power includes an environmental engine that determines performance metrics for a plurality of wind turbines deployed at a plurality of windfarms, such that each windfarm includes a corresponding subset of the plurality of windfarms. The performance metrics for a given wind turbine of the plurality of wind turbines characterizes wind flowing over blades of the given wind turbine. The system includes an artificial intelligence (AI) ensemble engine operating on the one or more computing devices that generates a set of models for each wind turbine of the plurality of wind turbines, wherein each model of each set of models is generated with a different machine learning algorithm and selects, for each respective set of models, a model with a highest efficiency metric. The AI engine provides edge computing systems operating at the plurality of windfarms with a selected model and corresponding recommended operating parameters.

摘要: A system, method, and computer program to adjust the effective width of centrifugal fan wheel(s) in a fan system during operation. The reason for the adjustment is to prevent stall when running the fan over a wider range of system operating points. This is of particular use in high turndown variable air volume systems commonly encountered in HVAC systems. An additional option function is to isolate a single fan, in a fan system, if that fan should fail, to prevent reverse flow through the failed fan.

摘要: An actuator and associated linkage assembly combined to multiply the force applied by the actuator in moving a flow control disk of a centrifugal fan against the air pressure generated by the fan. The actuator includes an internal spring mechanism for closing the disk against the fan air pressure. For some applications the closing force provided by the return spring may be supplemented with an auxiliary spring mechanism that is mounted for providing maximum assistance in closing the control disk, yet not prohibiting the actuator from reopening the disk.

摘要: An amplifier for use in a control system for a gas turbine engine receives an input potential signal indicative of request for engine power level and delivers a current which is varied to control a fuel metering system for the engine. The current delivered by the amplifier varies linearly with the input over two contiguous ranges, with the ratio of increase of output current to increase in input voltage substantially higher over the portion of the range corresponding to higher engine output than over the portion of the range corresponding to lower engine output. This change in gain of the amplifier causes its output to parallel approximately the generally parabolic curve of required engine fuel flow against engine speed. The amplifier includes a first stage which maintains the drop across a fixed resistor proportional to the controlling input potential over the lower power range. It includes a connection through a diode to a voltage divider energized from a controlled potential source to cause the current through the resistor to be partially shunted above the particular level of current representing the break in the output characteristic. The current flow through the first stage of the amplifier is multiplied in a power amplifier which drives the fuel metering valve.

摘要: This engine is designed to be operated by diversity of methods. It comprises a master cylinder which has the shape of the capital letter "T". Oil is compressed in this cylinder from its vertical line. The two opposite sides of this master cylinder have conical channels in them. Next to each side of the master cylinder and outside it, there is a rotating disc with poaches or pockets in it. Deep in each poach there is a draining duct which opens in the thickness of that rotating disc. The two rotating discs are attached together by an axle crossing the master cylinder from one side to another. As the assembly is tight, and if an amount of oil is compressed in the master cylinder through its vertical or pumping line, then the oil will have no passage out of it except through the conical channels of the cylinder's sides.And as oil gushes under pressure from the sides it encounters the rotating disc with the poaches, and thus forces it to spin to be able to get out from it. Also the strong thrust with which the oil leaves the rotating disc under the pressure, (wherein it leaves it with an angle) resembles a jet action which adds an extra spin to the rotating disc, and also restricts the direction of its rotation, and from the rotating axle we get our source of motion.It should be noticed here that there is a multiplication factor to the forces applied according to what is known in hydrodynamics as "Pasqual's Rule", upon which the design of the engine is based upon.
