    摘要: A double sealing device for a rotating shaft comprising a first and a second seal of annular form mounted side by side in a peripheral groove formed in a wall of a circular cylindrical housing through which the shaft to be sealed passes. At least one of a discharge or vent channel opens into the peripheral groove between the two seals. The seals comprise a carrier ring with an outer axial flange and an inner radial flange, and a sealing washer applied to each carrier ring to cover a part of an outer face of the axial flange. A sealing lip bearing is formed slidably on the shaft, the first seal sealing a first fluid medium and the second seal sealing a second fluid medium. The axial flange has an extension forming a pierced structure, not covered by the sealing washer of the seal, and disposed facing the peripheral groove.

    摘要: A water pump has a pump section having radial impeller blades, a rotational shaft for rotating the radial impeller blades, and a motor section provided in the rear of the pump section and driving the rotational shaft. The motor section has a motor casing, a motor housed in the motor casing and rotating the rotational shaft, bearings provided on both sides of the motor interposed between them on the rotational shaft, interposed between an inner surface of the motor casing and the rotational shaft, and rotatably supporting the rotational shaft. In the motor casing, a vent hole for venting air between a motor space in which the motor is disposed in the motor casing and an outside of the motor casing is formed.

    摘要: This leakage prevention seal is provided with: a first seal ring which surrounds a rotating shaft and which is in circumferential contact with the surface of a housing which faces the upstream side; a second seal ring, which, on the upstream side of the first seal ring, surrounds the rotating shaft and which is in circumferential contact with the first seal ring; and a heat-driven section which, when high-temperature pressurized water reaches the heat-driven section, reduces the diameter of both the first seal ring and the second seal ring and causes the inner peripheral surfaces of both the first seal ring and the second seal ring to be in contact with the rotating shaft. The circumferential positions of both a first range between the first seal ring and the rotating shaft and a second range formed by the second seal ring are different.

    摘要: An adjustment mechanism (85) for a seal assembly (80) for a pump drive shaft (52) of a pump, the pump shaft (52) mounted for rotation about a rotation axis. The seal assembly (80) comprises a rotating seal (81) mounted for rotation with the drive shaft (52) about the rotation axis and a static seal (84) adjacent the rotating seal (81) and axially moveable relative thereto. The adjustment mechanism (85) comprises an adjustment member (87) which is axially moveable so as to cause axial movement of the static seal (84) relative to the rotating seal (81). The mechanism further includes an actuator (88) and a transmission (93) for transmitting a motive force from the actuator to the adjustment member as a result of activation of the actuator. The transmission (93) is operatively connected to the adjustment member (87) at two spaced apart couplings (98) whereby activation of the actuator causes simultaneous transmission of the motive force to the two spaced apart couplings. The actuator (88) is disposed externally of all pump parts.
