摘要: A centrifugal separator for cleaning gas containing contaminants includes a stationary casing module including a surrounding side wall enclosing a separation space through which a gas flow is permitted, a gas outlet for cleaned gas, and at least one drainage opening for draining separated liquid contaminants from a lower portion of the stationary casing module; a rotating module including a plurality of separation members arranged in said separation space and being arranged to rotate around an axis of rotation; a drive member arranged for rotating the rotating module around the axis of rotation; and an inlet module arranged axially above the stationary casing module, including an inlet pipe for supply of the gas to be cleaned to the inlet module. The inlet module is in fluid contact with the separation space and a liquid outlet module arranged axially below the stationary casing module and configured to permit discharge of liquid contaminants drained from the stationary casing module. The liquid outlet module includes a lower base portion and at least one upwardly extending portion from the lower base portion. The at least one upwardly extending portion extends axially along the surrounding side wall of the stationary casing module such that the liquid outlet module forms an open container into which the stationary casing module is arranged. The liquid outlet module is attached to the stationary casing module via the at least one upwardly extending portion.

摘要: Rotating coalescer elements that maximize the radial-projected separation surface area in a given (rotating) cylindrical volume, where flow to be cleaned is passing axially upward or downward through a separating media of the rotating coalescer element. Various example package assemblies are provided with various types of rotating configurations including cylindrical coiled media packs, frustum coiled media packs, concentric cylinders, coiled metal or polymer films with and without perforations, and/or alternating layers of different materials. The described rotating coalescers may be driven by hydraulic turbine, electric motor, belt, gear or by mounting on rotating machine components, such as rotating engine shafts or connected components.

摘要: An oil separator that separates mist oil from processing-target gas containing mist liquid includes a plurality of separation disks. The plurality of separation disks rotate around an axis, and are stacked and spaced in an axial direction. The separation disk includes an inner peripheral part and an outer peripheral part. The inner peripheral part forms a surface of a frustum of a hypothetical cone or pyramid coaxial with the separation disk, and is inclined with respect to a radial direction toward one side in an axial direction. The outer peripheral part forms a surface of a frustum of a hypothetical cone or pyramid coaxial with the separation disk, and continuously extends outward from an outer peripheral edge of the inner peripheral part. The outer peripheral part is inclined with respect to the radial direction toward another side in the axial direction.

摘要: A centrifugal separator for cleaning crankcase gas, containing oil, from an internal combustion engine, includes a stationary casing defining a separation space and including a first end portion, an opposite second end portion and an inner wall surface facing the separation space. The separator also includes an inlet channel for the gas to be cleaned, a gas outlet channel for the cleaned gas and an oil outlet for the separated the oil. A centrifuge rotor is provided in the separation space and includes a spindle and a plurality of separation discs carried by the spindle. The centrifuge rotor is rotated to create a rotating gas volume. An oil supply device supplies such a quantity of oil to the separation space that a flowing oil film is created on the inner wall surface during operation of the centrifugal separator.

摘要: An in-line continuous flow liquid-gas separator-pump includes a housing, a rotor, a plurality of tubular flow passages, and a plurality of gas flow passages. The rotor includes a rotor first end, a rotor second end, an outer surface, and an inner surface that defines an inner chamber in fluid communication with the purge gas outlet. The tubular flow passages are formed in the rotor and extend between the rotor first end and the rotor second end. Each tubular flow passage includes a fluid inlet that is disposed adjacent the rotor first end and in fluid communication with the liquid/gas inlet, and a fluid outlet that is disposed adjacent the rotor second end and is in fluid communication with the liquid outlet. The gas flow passages are formed in the rotor, and each provides fluid communication between one of the tubular flow passages and the inner chamber.

摘要: An oil separator may be used in a variety of contexts, one of which is for crankcase ventilation of an internal combustion engine. The oil separator may include a hollow member that extends along a longitudinal axis and is configured to receive a gas flow that is charged with oil. The oil separator may also include an oil separation member disposed within the hollow member and against which the gas flow flows. A redirection member may be disposed proximate the oil separation member in the hollow member, wherein the redirection member redirects at least a portion of the gas flow traveling substantially along the longitudinal axis radially outwards so as to impact an inner side of the oil separation member. As a result of an impactor effect from the gas flow striking the oil separation member as well as the inertia of the oil, the oil may remain in and/or pass through the oil separation member.
