摘要: A steam turbine valve abnormality monitoring system according to an embodiment includes a detection unit detecting the state of a steam turbine valve or a steam turbine valve drive device, a determination unit, and an abnormality processing unit. Based on the detected result of the detection unit, the determination unit determines whether or not an abnormality has occurred in the opening degree control of the steam turbine valve. The abnormality processing unit issues an alarm or issues a turbine stop command when the determination unit determines that an abnormality has occurred in the opening degree control of the steam turbine valve.

In addition, the valve arrangement has a housing having a curvature, which extends in the direction of the valve body.

摘要: A cooling system for a gas turbine engine comprises a passage capable of receiving cooling air, a compartment radially adjacent thereto and axially aligned therewith, an opening therebetween, a valve within the opening, and a heat exchanger received in the compartment. The valve is moveable between a maximum open position and a minimum open position for increasing or decreasing airflow from the passage into the compartment. At the valve minimum open position, a leakage path is provided between the passage and the compartment, whereby cooling air is capable of passing from the passage to the compartment and toward the heat exchanger at all valve positions. A gas turbine engine is also disclosed.

摘要: To provide redundancy to a link mechanism provided in a steam turbine. A backup device for a link mechanism includes a stand-by plate suspended from a regulating valve lever as a first link and located immediately below a contact stopper provided on a main rod as a second link. The backup device preferably further includes a clamp that is provided on the regulating valve lever and suspends the stand-by plate. If the links are disjoined due to damage to a joint that joins the links of the link mechanism and thus the main rod is disengaged from the regulating valve lever by its own weight, the contact stopper provided on the main rod is locked by the stand-by plate located immediately below the contact stopper.

摘要: A bleed air cooling system for a gas turbine engine includes one or more bleed flowpaths operably connected to a bleed outlet to divert a bleed airflow from a gas turbine engine flowpath. Each bleed flowpath includes two or more bleed ports to divert a bleed airflow from a gas turbine engine flowpath, and a bleed duct in fluid communication with the bleed ports and configured to convey the bleed airflow from the two or more bleed ports to the bleed outlet. A valve is located at each bleed port of and is configured to move between an opened position and a closed position, and one or more sensors are located along the bleed flowpath to sense one or more conditions of the bleed air cooling system. The valve at a particular bleed port is moved to the opened position based on the sensed one or more conditions.

摘要: The present application provides a method of evaluating fatigue damage in an actuator spring of a valve used in a turbine by a data acquisition system. The method may include the steps of receiving a number of operating parameters from a number of sensors including valve spindle position over time, determining cyclic loading on the actuator spring based upon the valve spindle position over time, generating an intended design lifetime for the actuator spring, determining a fatigue damage indicator based on the cyclic loading as compared to the intended design lifetime, and altering one or more of the operating parameters and/or initiating repair procedures based upon the fatigue damage indicator.

摘要: An improved closed loop Brayton cycle for a power plant is provided that includes a heater, at least one turbine, a recuperator, at least one cooler, at least one compressor, a bypass line and a flap valve arrangement in a closed circuit in which working fluid is circulated to produce electricity via a generator. Depending upon the requirement, such as, in case of gird load disconnection, speed of a shaft-line to which the turbine, the compressor and the generator are configured is also required to be reduced without any impact on the pressure drop in the cycle. For that the non-tight flap valve arrangement is configured on each conduit between the heater and the at least one turbine in a closest possible proximity to each turbine inlet.
