摘要: A method includes obtaining a plurality of master sensor responses with a master sensor in a set of training fluids and obtaining node sensor responses in the set of training fluids. A linear correlation between a compensated master data set and a node data set is then found for a set of training fluids and generating node sensor responses in a tool parameter space from the compensated master data set on a set of application fluids. A reverse transformation is obtained based on the node sensor responses in a complete set of calibration fluids. The reverse transformation converts each node sensor response from a tool parameter space to the synthetic parameter space and uses transformed data as inputs of various fluid predictive models to obtain fluid characteristics. The method includes modifying operation parameters of a drilling or a well testing and sampling system according to the fluid characteristics.

摘要: A drilling fluid comprises an aqueous solution; a clay-based component comprising layered silicate; and a viscosifier additive comprising poly(acrylamide-co-diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (poly(AAm-co-DMAC)) polymer. The polymer comprises a number average molecular weight of from 10,000 g/mol to 2,000,000 g/mol. The layered silicate and poly(AAm-co-DMAC) reacts to form a silicate-poly(AAm-co-DMAC) complex within the aqueous solution. A mass ratio of the poly(AAm-co-DMAC) to the layered silicate is 1 to 8.

摘要: Wellbore for extracting heat from magma and a corresponding method. The method includes the steps of drilling a borehole from a surface and towards a magma chamber; supplying a drilling fluid to an interface between a drill bit and a terminal end of the borehole during drilling; terminating the drilling in response to the borehole achieving a predetermined depth; and supplying a thermodynamic fluid into the borehole to maintain the borehole while completing the wellbore. The drilling fluid lifts cuttings out of the borehole and quenches magma to form a solid phase material that can be cut by the drill bit.

摘要: In some aspects, the present disclosure includes methods and systems for grounding mobile equipment at a site, such as a hydrocarbon drilling and production site. In one embodiment, the system comprises a mobile unit; one or more ground rods configured to penetrate a portion of a grounded surface; one or more grounding connectors coupled to the one or more ground rods and the mobile unit; and one or more actuators coupled to the mobile unit. The one or more actuators may be used to drive the one or more ground rods into the portion of the grounded surface, thereby creating an electric flowpath to allow for the discharge of electricity.

The wireline tool includes a flow through passage to permit a working fluid to flow through the wireline tool to the intervention tool during operations. The intervention tool may be adjusted in real time based on the measurements from the wireline tool.
