    摘要: Powered safety curtains are disclosed herein. An example safety barrier assembly to control access to equipment includes a track and a barrier including a receptacle. The barrier is to be moveable within the track between an open position and a closed position. The open position is to enable access to the equipment, the closed position to substantially prevent access to the equipment. The example safety barrier assembly also includes a sensor to identify when the safety barrier is in the closed position and a securing device comprising a portion to be received by the receptacle when the barrier is identified as being in the closed position. An interaction between the portion and the receptacle is to prevent the barrier from moving out of the closed position.

    摘要: An Overhead rolling gate for a generally rectangular opening in a wall includes a generally horizontal frame portion at the top of the rectangular opening and two generally vertical portions at the lateral sides of the rectangular opening. A shaft is mounted substantially along the horizontal frame portion for rotation about a horizontal axis. A closure member is provided which has a length at least equal to the height of the rectangular opening and is capable of beg rolled up onto said shaft or spindle when in an open condition of the overhead gate and rolled down from the shaft or spindle to a closed position of the overhead gate to cover the rectangular opening. The closure member has a width selected to insure that the lateral ends of the closure member are guided by the vertical frame portions when the closure is rolled up unto or rolled down from the shaft or spindle. Locking means selectively locks and fixes the lateral ends of the closure member relative to the vertical portions when the closure member is closed up to anticipated wind loads of approximately 103 pounds per square foot. In this way the closure member acts as a beam fixed at both lateral ends thereby minimizing the maximum deflection relative to a plane defined by the wall or frame as a result of distributed anticipated wind loads acting on the closure member.

    摘要: A vertical door locking system includes a sliding latch mounted to a door that opens vertically, such as a garage door or corrugated self-storage door, and an electrically operated solenoid mounted at a fixed location on a guide rail for the door or the door frame. The latch includes a latchbolt that extends outward from the door to prevent the door from being raised vertically and the latchbolt has an opening at one end. The solenoid includes a spring operated solenoid rod that extends into the opening in the latchbolt to prevent the latchbolt from being retracted thereby preventing the door from being opened unless the solenoid is electrically operated to disengage the solenoid rod and release the latchbolt.

The grille has a row of end plates on each side, the end plates joining the ends of the bars in both bar sub-sets together. Each end plate has a panel with an inner surface facing inwardly when the grille closes the opening. Bar mounting sections are provided at the top and bottom of each panel. At least one of the top and bottom bar mounting sections in the plates in the lower bar sub-set have a flange comber located to abut on the inner surface of the panel of an adjacent plate when the grille closes an opening. The flange member flange forms the lower bar sub-set into a relatively rigid assembly when an attempt is made to raise the lower sub-set. the grille has a locking linkage on each side joining the lower and upper sub-set of bars together, the locking linkage connected to the top bar in the lower sub-set and the bottom bar in the upper sub-set. The locking linkage has a lock link movable into a locking position when an attempt is made to raise the lower sub-set of bars.
