    摘要: A closure system for controlling speed of a closure member, where the closure system includes a controller for transitioning speed of a closure member being operated in response to an obstacle being sensed in the path of the closure member. In one embodiment, a linear speed control algorithm determines the speed transitioning. In response to sensing contact with an obstacle, the controller may use a conventional contact process to stop or reverse the closure member. The closure system provides for a higher closing velocity of the closure member than conventional closure systems.

    摘要: A door system for a motor vehicle includes a door, an environmental sensor for detecting an obstacle in the vicinity of the motor vehicle, a door sensor for outputting an output signal as a function of the initiation of the opening of the door, and a control unit for detecting an imminent collision between the door and the obstacle as a function of an output signal of the environmental sensor and for triggering a warning device such that a warning may be output by the warning device in response to the detection of an imminent collision between the door and the obstacle. During the triggering of the warning device, the control unit distinguishes between at least two selectable warning stages, a first warning stage and a second warning stage, and the selection of a warning stage by the control unit is a function of the output signal of the door sensor.

    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for preventing a door from contacting an obstacle. One system includes a camera, a sensor, and a controller. The camera and the sensor are each configured to detect if the obstacle is within a path of the door. Another system includes an ultrasonic sensor, a near field sensor, and a controller. The ultrasonic sensor and the near field sensor are each configured to detect if the obstacle is within a path of the door. The controller in each system is configured to disable the door if the obstacle is detected within the path. One method includes the steps of visually or non-visually detecting if an obstacle is within an opening/closing path of a door when the obstacle is within or outside a camera field of view, respectively, and disabling the door if the obstacle is detected.
