摘要: An opening device for a door lock is provided. The opening device includes a driver rigidly connected to an inside handle, an inside shaft designed to rotate an internal latching mechanism of the door lock, the inside shaft having a follower and a through cavity, an outside shaft designed to be rotated by an outside handle including a first part disposed inside the through cavity of the inside shaft, a second part designed to be engaged with the outside handle, and a gear seat located at an end of the first part. The opening device includes a first gear being permanently rotationally engaged with the inside handle and the driver and configured to slide toward the gear seat, a second gear designed to move along the gear seat, and an electric actuator designed, upon being electrically activated, to cause the first gear to move to and engage the second gear.

The drive spindle is mounted to the escutcheon for rotation about a longitudinal axis. The lock mechanism includes a lock gear movably mounted in the escutcheon. The cam mechanism includes a first cam defined by the escutcheon and a second cam defined by the lock gear. The driver is operable to rotate the lock gear between a first rotational position and a second rotational position. The cam mechanism is configured to longitudinally drive the lock gear from a first longitudinal position to a second longitudinal position as the lock gear rotates from the first rotational position to the second rotational position. Movement of the lock gear between the first longitudinal position and the second longitudinal position transitions the lock mechanism between a locked state and an unlocked state.

摘要: A smart lock for securing a closure is provided. The smart lock comprises: a drive train for actuating a lock mechanism between a first mechanical end stop and a second mechanical end stop, corresponding to an unlocked position and a locked position or vice-versa; an electric actuator arranged to drive the drive train to actuate the lock mechanism; a position sensor arranged to output a location signal indicative of a position of the drive train; a current sensor arranged to output a current signal indicative of an electrical current flowing through the electric actuator; and a processor. The processor is configured to: control the electric actuator to actuate the lock mechanism in a first direction; monitor the current signal; determine a position of the first mechanical end stop for the lock mechanism based upon the current signal; define a first operational end stop for the lock mechanism, the first operational end stop spaced from the first mechanical end stop; and control the electric actuator to actuate the lock mechanism to stop at the first operational end stop based upon the location signal.

Wherein, when the motor drives the driving member to rotate to a first position, the driving member drives the clutch unit to radially move toward the handle, such that the pushing structure is configured to abut against the clutch unit for pushing the clutch base to rotate via the clutch unit when the handle is rotated.

摘要: Disclosed are embodiments of a tapered bolt receiver for a door lock to accommodate misalignment, between a deadbolt mounted to a door, and an opposing jamb. The tapered bolt receiver can be configured to accommodate misalignment for a deadbolt having a non-tapered bolt, such as for an electromechanical smart lock having a battery stored within a battery compartment that is integrated with an enhanced bolt. Also disclosed are embodiments of a deadbolt plate pivot assembly that is pivotably mountable to a corresponding deadbolt assembly to define a plate pivot system, to accommodate a beveled door edge. An illustrative embodiment of the deadbolt plate pivot assembly includes opposing plate that captures a hinge assembly, which can include plastic plate hinges, which serve to locate the deadbolt plate pivot assembly with respect to a corresponding bolt housing, and can provide a spring force and/or constant torque when mounted to a beveled door.

摘要: An actuating assembly of a locking system (200) to operate a displaceable component of a latching system (210), includes: (i) a first member (24) which is connected or connectable to the displaceable component of the latching system (210); (ii) a second member (26), the first and second members (24, 26) being disconnectably connectable to each other, with the first and second members (24, 26) being in an inoperative configuration when they are disconnected from each other such that the second member (26) is displaceable independently of the first member (24), and the first and second members (24, 26) being in an operative configuration when they are connected to each other such that displacement of the second member (26) causes the first member (24) to be displaced; (iii) a first actuating sub-assembly (46) including a first key receiver (230) for receiving a non-mechanical first key in the form of a predetermined electromagnetic signal transmitted via a cellular telecommunications network from the communications facility (224) of a monitoring facility (227) to an electronic controller (228); (iv) a second actuating sub-assembly (52) which is operable by a second key (226), the second actuating sub-assembly (52) being operably connected to the second member (26) and being configured, when actuated by the second key (226), to cause the second member (26) to be displaced, thereby to cause the first member (24) to be displaced when the first and second members (24, 26) are in their operative configuration; and (v) a timer for determining the time from receipt of a first key by the first actuating sub-assembly (46), wherein the first actuating subassembly (46) is configured, upon: (i) receipt of the first key, to cause the first and second members (24, 26) to assume their operative configuration; and (ii) elapse of a preset time stored in a storage means (236) measured by the timer from receipt of a first key by the first actuating sub-assembly (46), to cause the first and second members (24, 26) to assume their inoperative configuration.

摘要: Mechanically or electromechanically positioning a deadbolt used to lock or unlock a door is disclosed. An electromechanical lock can include a deadbolt to be positioned to lock or unlock a door. The deadbolt can be mechanically positioned based on the rotation of a paddle of the electromechanical lock or electromechanically positioned via a motor being turned on to position the deadbolt. A disengagement mechanism can disengage an engagement cog from a worm gear hub of a gear train of the motor upon the mechanical positioning, but remain engaged upon the electromechanical positioning.
