Abstract:
The present invention provides a scaffold assembly, in particular a combination of a conventional tubular scaffold tube or pole and a rosette type coupling which enables the connection of additional scaffold components to the scaffold assembly, the coupling and tubular element being fixed relative to one another by means of at least one abutment which is cold formed in the tubular element such as to fix the coupling in position relative thereto.
Abstract:
A supplementary support assembly for a modular scaffold system formed from a matrix of interconnecting scaffold bays. The assembly including a pair of spaced apart transoms (88) adapted to be cantilevered outwardly from the scaffold bays and one or more decking boards (90) extending between the pair of transoms, thereby providing a supplementary support platform (85).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a prop (32.1, 32.3) for a three-dimensional framework, particularly a scaffold (20), comprising a fastening mechanism (38) for attaching a railing device (28) to the prop (32.1, 32.3). The invention also relates to a connecting assembly for a railing device (28), comprising at least one prop (32.1, 32.3) for a three-dimensional framework, especially a scaffold (20), and a railing device (28) which can be attached to the prop (32.1, 32.3) with the help of a fastening mechanism (38). Also disclosed is a method for attaching a railing device (28) to a prop (32.1, 32.3) for a three-dimensional framework, especially a scaffold (20), with the help of a fastening mechanism (38). The fastening mechanism (38) encompasses a locking element which can be swiveled about a swivel pin. In the locked position, the locking surface of the locking element lies across from a bearing surface (43) of a support element that is mounted on the prop (32.1, 32.3). Furthermore, in the locked position and in the operational position of the prop (32.1, 32.3), the locking surface of the locking element is disposed at a vertical distance above the bearing surface of the support element, and/or in the operational position of the prop (32.1, 32.3), the swivel pin is placed at a vertical distance above the locking surface that is in the locking position, preferably also at a vertical distance above the bearing surface of the support element.
Abstract:
The invention is an end connector for a horizontal scaffold member where the top of the end connector is inserted into the interior of a scaffold pipe. The invention includes a locking latch that includes a rotating latch member and a rotating lock that interferes when the latch is locked.
Abstract:
A standard (10) of a scaffolding system (1), comprising an elongate tubular wall (12), having a central longitudinal axis (Ls), and at least one supporting projection (14) that protrudes radially outwardly from said tubular wall (12). When the standard (10) is in a vertical orientation, the supporting projection (14), seen in a tangential direction (Ts) relative to the longitudinal axis (Ls), forms an annular supporting surface (16) that encircles the tubular wall (12) and that defines alternating elevations (18) and depressions (20). Also disclosed is a ledger (30) with ledger couplings (40) configured for cooperation with said standard (10).
Abstract:
One embodiment of the invention is a horizontal scaffold member having a primary end connector and a secondary end connector. Each end connector is configured to couple to a cup on a vertical scaffold member. Each end connector includes a wedge assembly having a handle and a wedge, movable with respect to the wedge head to a latched and unlatched position. The primary wedge assembly is connected to the secondary wedge assembly by a cable, and configured so that moving the primary wedge assembly to a unlatched position also moves the secondary wedge assembly to an unlatched position.

Abstract:
A supporting apparatus is provided. A supporting apparatus comprises a positioning plate with a longitudinal tube passing therethrough. A plurality of horizontal connectors engages with and fixes onto the positioning plate. Horizontal connectors are connected to both end of a horizontal tube. Outer surface of each end of the horizontal tube comprises engaging plates with symmetry for engaging with an inclined connector at each end of an inclined tube. The inclined tube and the horizontal tube are engaged on a central line of the horizontal tube so that an eccentric torque is not produced during force distribution. An arc profile and a flat profile on a sidewall of the positioning plate are alternatively arranged so that the tubes are respectively adjustable and taking force equally, such that the supporting apparatus is strong and stable
Abstract:
A device for interconnecting scaffolding elements (4) and standards (3) of a scaffolding (1) or similar. An engagement member (2), open at the top in the operating mode and connected to the standard, has a first engagement surface (11) facing the standard but extending spaced therefrom, and a first bearing surface (33), in the operating position facing upwards. A hook-shaped member (7) attached to the scaffolding element (4) exhibits a second engagement surface (29) facing away from the standard and a second bearing surface, in the operating position facing downwards. The hook-shaped member is hooked into the engagement member and is supported thereby through co-operation between the first and the second engagement surfaces as well as the first and second bearing surfaces. The hook-shaped member (7) exhibits two side cheeks (13, 14) arranged in spaced (16) relationship with each other and fixedly attached to the scaffolding element (4). In the interconnected mode of the coupling device, each cheek extends with an end portion (17, 18) towards the standard (3). A distance piece (26) is located between the end portions of the side cheeks, is fixedly attached to the end portions of both side cheeks and exhibits the major portion of the second engagement surface (31).
