    摘要: An access floor panel having an improved applied edge trim element comprising a panel base capable of being suspended above a subfloor surface, having a load surface for supporting loads, and a method for forming such an edge trim element. Affixed to the load surface is a covering comprising a top layer having a thickness and an underlying backing layer. The covering further comprises a wear surface with a central portion and perimeter edges therearound, the wear surface along the perimeter edges of the covering being etched to a depth that is less than the thickness of the top layer. An edge trim element, such as ink, is applied to the etched portion of the covering, providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance to the access floor panel.

    摘要: An elevated floor panel is disclosed formed of a sheet metal upper surface member and a sheet metal lower support member. The lower support member is provided with a plurality of apertures arranged in perpendicular rows across the panel. Integral legs formed of material displaced from the apertures are symmetrically arranged around each aperture and extend laterally to the upper surface member. Each leg is provided with a foot portion welded to the under surface of the surface member. The edges of the lower support member are bent laterally to provide sidewalls extending to the upper surface member and terminating in flanges welded to the upper surface member. The panel structure permits the panel to be supported at its corners and to sustain substantial loads with small load-induced deflections.

    摘要: A platform element that is connectable to a secondary structure using a clip that is adapted to be installed in a storage position or a use position with respect to the platform element. The platform element includes a substantially planar panel and at least one upstanding wall that extends generally downward from the panel and is adapted to space the panel from an external support surface. The clip is adapted to connect the upstanding wall to the secondary structure when the clip is in the use position. A receptacle is formed on an underside of the panel. The receptacle is adapted to engage the clip to maintain the clip in a fixed position with respect to the panel when the clip is in the storage position.

    摘要: An access floor panel is disclosed that has a top plate with a plurality of non-directional air passageways intermingled with a plurality of directional air passageways. The directional air passageways are configured to direct airflow through them at an angle to the upper surface of the top plate of other than 90°. The directional air passageways include an opening in the top plate and a tab adjacent to each opening that is at an angle with respect to top surface of the top plate of other than 90°. Due to the intermingling of the non-directional air passageways and the directional air passageways, the composite air flow direction through the non-directional air passageways and the directional air passageways is at an angle with the top plate of other than 90°.
