摘要： A post, kit, and railing system including the same. The post system may include a structural post, a plurality of corner covers, and a plurality of cover plates. The structural post may extend along a longitudinal axis. The plurality of corner covers may be configured to be coupled to the structural post to form a configurable post assembly in which the plurality of corner covers form longitudinal corner sections and a longitudinal gap exists between adjacent ones of the plurality of the corner covers. The plurality of cover plates may be configured to be coupled to the configurable post assembly to fill in selected ones of the longitudinal gaps so that remaining ones of the longitudinal gaps can be used for coupling railing infills to the configurable post assembly to form any one of a corner post, an end post, or a straight post in a railing system.

摘要： An anchor platform assembly for anchoring an object to a structure, especially intended for mounting the object on an inside or outside corner of a support structure mounted on a roof, includes an anchor baseplate having a first sidewall and second sidewall disposed at an angle to the first sidewall, each having a surface and second surface, an elongated post coupled to the first sidewall of the baseplate and projecting outwardly from the first surface thereof. The post has a first end secured to the first sidewall of the anchor baseplate, a second free end, and an at least partially threaded, cylindrical blind bore extending from the first surface of the first sidewall of the anchor baseplate into the post, with the second surface of the anchor baseplate being configured to allow the structure to lie generally flush against the second surface of the first sidewall except for the area of the second surface covered by the post. A cylindrical mechanical fastener having a straight thread is used for fastening an object to the anchor baseplate via the blind bore. A multiple post stud anchor platform assembly is also disclosed.

摘要： A temporary guardrail for an unprotected staircase is assembled and installed using prefabricated sections. One section is a safety section that includes an adjustable length upper railing, with a pair of balusters respectively hinged to each end of the upper railing. Another section is a support section having an adjustable length lower railing that is engaged between the balusters of the safety section and which, when assembled with the safety section, is oriented parallel to the upper railing. The safety and support sections are then stiffened to account for an incline angle α that is defined by the staircase. Also included are structures which can be engaged with the temporary guardrail to stabilize it on the staircase.
