    Abstract: A cubicle assembly includes a frame formed of a plurality of interconnected rails for vertically supporting one or more partition panels to at least partially enclose a given workspace. A hollow lower rail and peripheral rails are configured to retain and conceal electrical wiring, such as network cables and power cords. Smaller interior rails can be fastened between the larger lower and peripheral rails to support multiple, adjacent partition panels similarly to a window-frame muntin. One or more corner covers conceal gaps formed between adjacent, angularly oriented frame sections. Accordingly, an unlimited number of support frames can be erected and interconnected to form an aesthetic barrier around a workspace.

    Abstract: A freestanding partition panel for dividing a floor space includes a rigid partition frame having vertical side frame members and first and second horizontal frame members extending between the vertical side frame members to form a vertically enlarged opening through the frame, and an open space within the panel. At least one intermediate horizontal cross member extends across the vertically enlarged opening and defines upper and lower openings through the frame. The intermediate cross member and at least a selected one of the first and second horizontal frame members include a plurality of horizontally spaced apart attachment locations defining a plurality of discrete, serially adjacent mounting spaces. The partition panel further includes a utility unit that is mountable in a selected one of the mounting spaces. The partition panel further includes a first cover panel secured to the partition frame and extending horizontally between the side edge of the utility unit and the selected vertical side frame member. The first cover panel is connected to the intermediate horizontal cross member and extends vertically between the intermediate horizontal cross member and the selected one of the first and second members. A second cover panel is secured to the partition frame, and extends horizontally between the vertical side frame members. The second cover panel extends vertically between the intermediate horizontal cross member and the other of the selected one of the first and second horizontal members.

    Abstract: A substantially rectangular panel suitable for use in an office space dividing system, with the panel including a frame constructed of rails and stiles. The rails and stiles define a window having inner facing edges which include channels for receiving a sheet of material. Glazing strips are provided for the channels which are configured such that they are insertable into a channel in a selected one of two orientations. In one orientation, the glazing strip is in a normal position to receive the sheet of material. In the other orientation the glazing strip is inverted, completely blocking access to the channel, to prevent foreign matter from entering the channel prior to assembly of the sheet of material with the frame.
