Abstract:
A kit for variable-length installation of a sanitary faucet on a water connection arranged flush-mounted or behind a pre-wall element, comprising:
a connection element that can be connected to the water connection and has an inner surface for guiding an adapter element of the kit in a longitudinal direction, an adapter element, which has an outer surface matching the inner surface of the connection element, such that the connection element can guide the adapter element in the longitudinal direction, wherein the adapter element further has a connecting means, by means of which the adapter element can be connected to a sanitary faucet connection of the sanitary faucet, a connecting element, which can be detachably connected to the connection element, wherein the connecting element is set up to guide the adapter element in the longitudinal direction and to secure it relative to the connection element.
Abstract:
A plumbing finish panel assembly, for connecting a water supply line in a wall to fixture supply lines, comprises a mounting panel having a supply line opening formed therethrough and a finish ring for presenting a clean finished appearance to the assembly. A supply line connector assembly is securable to the mounting panel through the supply line opening and enables selective orientation of a tailpiece for connection to the supply line. An outlet end of the supply line connector assembly provides a threaded coupling to which a valve or hose may be coupled. The panel assembly may be provided in plate or box configuration.
Abstract:
A tamper-resistant frictionless connector assembly includes an outer sleeve with a first end and a second end opposite to the first end along an axis. A first sealed ring bearing has first outer ring, inner ring, and bearings, where the first outer ring is directly coupled to the outer sleeve at the first end. An inlet adapter directly coupled to the first inner ring and not directly coupled to the outer sleeve. A second sealed ring bearing has a second outer ring, inner ring, and bearings, where the second outer ring is directly coupled to the outer sleeve at a second end. An outlet adapter directly coupled to the second inner ring and not directly coupled to the outer sleeve. A thrust axial bearing abutting the inlet and outlet adapters, where the sealed ring bearings, the inlet adapter, and the outlet adapter are aligned along the axis.
Abstract:
A system for interconnecting a faucet assembly to a wall member is provided that employs a mounting bracket for interconnection to the wall member. The mounting bracket is configured to accommodate various configurations of faucets with any number of fluid delivery tubes. The mounting system provides structural rigidity to the faucet/building interconnection while minimizing occupation of interior wall space.
Abstract:
An apparatus is presented for providing vertical or horizontal alignment to a pipe or conduit extending through a floor, wall or ceiling surface, comprising a box-like housing having a first set of one or more openings extending therethrough, one or more pipe stubs for extending through the first set of one or more openings of the housing for receiving partially therein the pipe or conduit, and elastomeric members for securing the pipe stubs within the openings of the housing and to provide a fluid-tight seal therebetween. The alignment device is adapted to be positioned within the floor, wall or ceiling surface, respectively, through which the pipe or conduit is to extend. The number, location and size of the stub openings can be varied to accommodate piping systems of varying sizes and configurations, and may be determined on a case-by-case basis prior to construction, relying on customized pipe fittings as well as standardized models for masonry construction and wood-frame construction. Other embodiments of the invention may consist of multiple openings of various dimensions, aligned in the center of the housing or in combinations suitable for specific pipes and other variations.
Abstract:
The drainage pipe slope measuring device includes a housing having an upper surface and a lower surface. The upper surface has an opening formed therethrough, the lower surface preferably having a substantially concave or arcuate cross-sectional contour adapted for flush mounting against the drainage pipe. A spirit level vial is mounted within the housing and is positioned adjacent the opening. The vial is preferably formed from at least partially transparent or translucent material and is adapted for containing a liquid and a gas bubble. Indicia is formed on the container and is visible through the opening so that, when the housing is mounted on the drainage pipe, a position of the gas bubble with respect to the indicia provides the user with a visual indication of the slope of the drainage pipe. The vial is preferably divided into separately colored regions to provide the user with further visual contrast.
Abstract:
A generally planar mounting plate is formed to slidingly receive at least one mounting strap for supporting the plate between two adjacent wall studs. A mounting dish overlies a first side of the mounting plate. A valve, such as an angle stop valve or a gate valve, is secured to the mounting plate and mounting dish utilizing a cylindrical hollow adapter and a nut. The adapter has a female threaded forward end which is screwed over the male threaded shank of the valve. The adapter has a male threaded rearward end that extends through a hole in the base of the dish and a hole in an intermediate region of the mounting plate. A nut is screwed over the rearward end of the adapter to squeeze the mounting dish and the mounting plate between a shoulder of the adapter and the nut. A detachable outer cover is provided for frictionally engaging an internal wall of the dish for enclosing and protecting the valve during installation and finishing of the surrounding drywall. A detachable ring-shaped escutcheon slides into the dish once the cover has been removed.
Abstract:
A handle stop aligning and holding apparatus for facilitating the installation of valve assemblies in a faucet having wide spread valves. The apparatus is an integral one-piece, flat, elongate plate having a plurality of openings longitudinally spaced from each other at preselected intervals. The openings are adapted to receive and hold against rotation handle stops of valve assemblies.
Abstract:
An outlet box assembly includes an outlet box housing, configurable between a first and second orientation, and a funnel assembly. The outlet box housing includes a first wall portion and a second wall portion. The first wall portion includes a first socket portion, including a first knock out portion, and at least one through hole. The first knock out portion includes a first knock out body and an area of weakening. The through hole attaches a plumbing fitting to the first wall portion. The second wall portion includes a second socket portion including a second knock out portion including a second knock out body and an area of weakening. The funnel assembly has a fixed funnel portion and a funnel cover configured to be removably attached to the fixed funnel portion. The funnel assembly is configured to direct fluid to the first or second socket portion.
