摘要： A method of manufacturing a thermoplastic resin for a household plumbing equipment includes: reacting an acid component including a terephthalic acid and a glycol component including a trimethylene glycol derived from a plant to form a poly trimethylene terephthalate resin as a condensation polymer of a formed glycol ester; and combining the poly trimethylene terephthalate resin with a polymethyl methacrylate resin in a mass ratio of 90:10-50:50 to form a thermoplastic resin, wherein the thermoplastic resin includes the polymethyl methacrylate resin and the polytrimethylene terephthalate resin in an amount of 80% or more by mass of a total amount of the formed thermoplastic resin.

摘要： A drain engageable bowl having an interior cavity with an opening at a bottom end thereof. The opening aligns with an axial passage running though an annular projection connected to the bowl and aligned with the opening. The annular projection is adapted to frictionally engage with an interior of a sink drain, and hold the bowl elevated above the lower surface of a sink surrounding the drain. Sealable openings in the sidewall of the annular projection provide an actuable drain for fluid from the sink keeping it separated from the interior cavity of the bowl.

摘要： Disclosed is a process for producing a sanitary ware. The sanitary ware includes a glaze layer and a photocatalyst layer provided on the glaze layer. The photocatalyst layer is an oxide film including a co-fired product of a precursor of titanium oxide and a precursor of zirconium oxide and contains 65 to 85% by mass of titanium oxide and 15 to 35% by mass of zirconium oxide. The process includes the steps of applying a solution containing at least a precursor of titanium oxide and a precursor of zirconium oxide on a surface of a sanitary ware free from a photocalyst layer, and then firing the coating to form a photocatalyst layer.
