    摘要: A wall element for holding back water is formed in one piece and has a planar, rectangular main portion having a first side, a second side parallel to the first side, a third side perpendicular to the first side, and a fourth side parallel to the third side. A first planar bearing portion is connected to the main portion over the first side and perpendicular to the main portion. A second planar bearing portion is connected to the main portion over the second side and perpendicular to the main portion. The second bearing portion is opposite the first bearing portion. The wall element has a planar connecting portion connected to the main portion over the third side and inclined to the main portion. The connecting portion has connecting holes in the longitudinal direction, and the main portion has connecting holes along the longitudinal extent of the fourth side.

    摘要: A water dam includes a number of loading pallets arranged side-by-side and inclined outward from the water supported by supports. Membranes are placed on loading pallets and extend a distance in front of the pallets under the water. The membranes may be held down in the front edge by stones, sand bags, etc. initially to hold the membrane in place. The supports are triangular and made of U-shaped sheet metal beams. The one on which the pallets rest grips over the adjoining legs of two loading pallets to hold these together. To the rear the support is extended sufficient to secure that it cannot be tilted by the water. To achieve this and achieve a good grip on the ground the inclination is preferably 45.degree., resulting in great vertical forces on the ground, a good grip on the ground.

    摘要: A floodgate structure is disclosed for closing of an hydraulic flow channel at selected times, as during flooding conditions. A gate panel is normally loosely and slideably received in a recess below grade level. To render the gate operational, it is lifted into a channel-blocking position. Pneumatically inflatable peripheral sealing elements extend from the water side of the panel into sealing contact with a fixed support structure. The opposite side of the panel supports a flexible but noninflatable sealing skirt element, which is pressed into sealing contact with the supporting structure by expansion of the inflatable elements. When thus positioned, the sealing skirt becomes hydrostatically loaded by the pressure of the water and functions as an effective seal in the event of subsequent failure of the pneumatically expandable elements.

    摘要: A movable tsunami buffer dam has a unit configured such that a plurality of separate units, each of which having a shape in which a frame made of a light material is sandwiched by a pair of plates made of a light material, is stacked with said plates disposed in a pile; and a locking member for locking said unit to a ground surface such that said unit can rise up from said ground surface and collapse onto said ground surface. The separate units has a structure in which water from a tsunami can advance into a space formed between said plates by said frame.A required thickness is ensured due to said unit being configured such that said separate units are stacked, and the manufacturing cost is reduced to a greater extent than in the case of a dam configured from a single separate unit of said required thickness, because the big size lumber for obtaining the units is very expensive. The unit is installed in a state of being collapsed on said ground surface at normal times, and when a tsunami arrives, said unit rising up due to the force of the tsunami and the buoyancy of the seawater, resisting the passage of the tsunami and reducing the power of the tsunami.

    摘要: A packing set includes a stop block and a packing. The stop block is penetrated by and installed with an abutment device and the packing includes a main body and a packing kit. Both ends of the main body extend downward with a protruding part. Each protruding part has a transverse rib stretching outward from the side thereof and the other end of the transverse rib has a vertical rib extending perpendicularly. The main body has a screw for placing the packing kit. The packing kit includes a stud that penetrates the screw. The stud has an operating rod installed in one end and an abutment board installed in the other end. The stop block can be installed in both sides of any water retaining column and is used as a clamp incorporated with the packing for performing the packing action on the gate boards.
