摘要： A dog waste clean-up tool for retrieving solid waste from the ground is disclosed. A reusable canister with interior paper dividing walls is placed onto the dog waste with its opening and dividers facing down. The user presses the canister, and its dividers, into the waste by stepping on the bottom of the canister and placing weight onto the canister until waste adheres to the dividers. The user picks up the canister and places it onto a disposable lid. The soiled paper dividers and the lid are ejected from the canister into a garbage bin or a composting bin.

摘要： A waste disposal apparatus having a handle, an elongated shaft, a base, and a disposable cartridge. The handle includes a cutout for manual gripping and a ring for attachment to a belt loop or other support. The cartridge provides a first side with a nub thereon and a second side with a plurality of tines disposed thereon and extending therefrom. The base provides a plate having a well with an open end and interior volume in which the nub of the cartridge engages therewith for removable securement. In operation, the user can place a bag over the base and push the nub into the open end of the well of the base for attachment thereto and impale animal waste using the tines. The user can then fold the bag over the cartridge and detach the bag from the plate enclosing the cartridge therein for disposal.

摘要： A tool for extracting weeds without stooping, bending or personally touching the weed is disclosed. The weed extracting tool has a plurality of spikes mounted onto a block which is mounted onto the lower end of a torque bar. Spiral ribs on the spikes are force fitted within bores formed in the block resulting in an interlocking union. A spring-loaded ejector carriage is movably mounted onto the torque bar for movement between retracted and extended positions. The ejector carriage includes an ejector plate, a push plate, and side panels connecting the two plates. The ejector plate is interposed between the spikes. A weed is extracted from the soil by inserting the spikes into the ground around the central root core of the weed, rotating the torque bar to engage the weed's roots about the spikes, and then lifting the entangled weed from the ground. The weed is then expelled by manually extending the ejector carriage along the torque bar.

摘要： A device for picking-up, containing and removing of malleable wastes is provided. Primarily, the wastes considered are animal fecal matter. The disposable portion of this device is comprised of a mesh element formed into a compartment to contain entrapped feces. Feces are picked up by pressing the matter through the mesh element and into the compartment. Shielding means are provided to retain the fecal matter. A wrapping means such as a bag may be used to further insure containment for disposal into waste bins and the like. An extension handle member with an ejector mechanism is adapted to allow for remote operation of the device.

摘要： A retractable trash spear device comprises an elongated tubular handle member having opposite ends with an elongated rod element therein having a pointed end and being axially movable between an extended position with the pointed end projecting from one end of the handle member and a fully retracted position with the pointed end completely within the handle member. The handle member has an elongated slot formed therein adjacent its other end, and a manual actuating element is adjustably attached to the rod element and extends out of the slot for selectively moving the rod element between its retracted and extended positions. A coil spring in the handle member surrounding the rod element biases the rod element towards its retracted position. The lower end of the slot in the handle member has a right angle extension thereon for holding the actuating element thereby to hold the rod element in its extended position.

摘要： A pick-up device including a tubular body and a shaft telescopingly received within the tubular body having a handle member on one end and a pick-up tool, such as a spike or gripping fingers, on the other end. A coil spring between the shaft and tubular body normally biases the shaft to a raised retracted position relative to the tubular body. Latch elements on the shaft and tubular body are adapted to automatically engage when the shaft has been forced through the tubular body, compressing the spring, to a protracted position. A manually actuated operating element within the shaft and handle member cooperates to release the latch elements upon actuation, causing the shaft to move to its retracted position.
