Abstract:
A railway rail anchoring device (12) for fastening a railway rail (16) to an underlying foundation (18), the anchoring device comprising a protrusion (28), the anchoring device protrusion being configured to cooperate with a corresponding recess (36) provided in a receiving portion associated with the underlying foundation.
Abstract:
A mechanism for coupling a track rail to a substrate includes a rail plate and a base plate, where the rail plate surrounds the base plate. An overmolded coating is formed of a non-metallic material and encases the rail plate and the base plate. Related methodology is disclosed.
Abstract:
An assembly for securing a longitudinally extending rail for rail vehicles has a metallic base plate detachably fixed to a solid substrate. Rail holddowns secure the rail to the base plate, and retaining devices anchored in the substrate and pressing the base plate down against the base plate.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for mounting rail-road tracks (22) on a substructure (20; 20a, 20b), comprising two angle guide elements (30; 30a, 30b) disposed on both sides of the rail foot (22a) for each mounting point, and one support element (28) on the side facing away from the rail foot (22a) of each angle guide element (30, 30a, 30b), and a support unit (26) disposed beneath the angle guide element (30; 30a, 30b) and support elements (28) of the mounting point and comprising two threaded bolts (42) for tightening rail clamps (32), disposed such that they extend through openings in the angle guide plates (30; 30a, 30b) in the installed state.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a support for a system for fastening a rail on a substrate, having an angle bracket, which has a base section with a contact surface associated with the respective substrate, also having a supporting section, standing on the base section, which on its free front side associated with the rail to be fastened has a bearing surface, and also having a through hole formed in the base section for inserting a fastening element intended for fixing the angle bracket on the substrate. With such a support reliable support of the rail in service, also with greater tolerance for positioning the individual components, according to the invention is ensured by the fact that the through hole at least in a direction aligned parallel to the contact surface has an over-measure in relation to the circumference of the part, in the assembled condition sitting in the through hole, of the fastening element and by the fact that an additional locking piece, cooperating with the fastening element for fixing the angle bracket in a particular relative position obtained by a relative movement of fastening element and angle bracket, is also provided.
Abstract:
In a method for influencing the traction force during shifting operations of a manual transmission in vehicles having at least two drive axles, the drive system of the first axle is activated in such a way that the interruptions in traction force occurring at the second axle during shifting operations of the manual transmission are at least partially compensated for.
Abstract:
The invention provides a system for fastening a rail in place and a rail fastener which, while being simple to install, allow a large measure of freedom in the production of the components required and at the same time have great practical utility. To this end a system according to the invention for fastening a rail to a fixed bottom support comprises: a base plate produced from a plastics material, an intermediate layer which is arranged between the base plate and the fixed bottom support, a carrier plate which is arranged between the intermediate layer and the bottom support, a resilient member to hold down the rail which is to be fastened in place, a clamping bolt to brace the resilient member against the base plate, and a fastening member for fastening the base plate to the fixed bottom support.

Abstract:
A supporting means for a track rail which in turn supports rotatable wheels secured to the base of a movable stack or storage means. The supporting means includes a flat strip of metal which is fastened to the floor and is formed with two vertically extending bars for positioning a metal rail between them. A bead is formed on the inside surface of each bar for engaging the sides of the rail, and a longitudinal channel is formed in the middle of the strip for equalizing the weight distribution of the rail.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system for securing a rail, including a guide plate for providing lateral support for the rail to be secured, a spring element supported on the guide plate and having at least one spring arm exerting an elastic retaining force on the base of the rail, and tensioning means for tensioning the spring element. Such a system allows an optimally secure support of the rail even in the case of a level ground having no indentations or stop shoulders, whilst being easy to handle and having only a small number of components to be mounted in each case, by providing a support angle which may be connected to the solid ground and which has a bearing surface against which the guide plate rests on the side facing away from the rail base. According to the invention the support angles are made from a plastic material, in order to facilitate assembly and improve the function of the support angles in practical use.
