A method of attaching two components includes stitching a hot melt sequin to one of the components and heating the hot melt sequin to bond the two components together. Sequins can also be applied to articles to create structural elements such as heel counters, toe covers, and lace cages. Sequins can be applied in 1D, 2D, and 3D patterns as well as in dispersive patterns. Sequins can be applied to vary the abrasion properties of a portion of an article.

An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for feeding rhinestones, which costs low with simple elements and structures and remarkably speeds work up with less possibility of operation errors. To this end, the apparatus for feeding rhinestones includes: a main body; a dispenser which is supported on the main body, includes a flat bottom surface and a discharging skirt, is driven to move the discharging skirt for discharging within a plane including the bottom surface along a tangential direction of the discharging skirt, and includes a guide groove on the bottom surface in an acute direction to a moving direction the discharging skirt from the discharging skirt, in which a width of the guide groove is larger than a diameter of the adhesive flat surface of the rhinestone and a depth of the guide groove is smaller than a height of the protruding end portion; a rhinestone feeder which presses and feeds the rhinestones toward the bottom surface of the dispenser; and a driver which drives the dispenser.

The subject invention is related to a method for preparing a reflective film, comprising the steps of: (a) providing a first substrate and forming a releasable adhesive layer thereon; (b) applying reflective particles onto the releasable adhesive layer, where the reflective particles are partially embedded in the releasable adhesive layer; (c) applying a pigment onto the reflective particles and the releasable adhesive layer; (d) removing part of the pigment so that the pigment does not completely cover the reflective particles; and (d) forming a reflective layer on the pigment and the reflective particles. The invention further pertains to a method for manufacturing a reflective article by using the reflective film prepared according to the above-mentioned method.

This invention is a personal bead attachment device. It consists of a base with a hot plate, a piston arm, a piston holder, spring and piston forming a pressure handle. There is a power source and a laser light from the piston. The user of the bead attachment device will plug it in and turn machine and laser light on from the back of the machine, in about 30 second the plate should be hot and ready to use. The user will place the fabric on top of the hot plate and place a bead on the top of fabric, the laser dot will tell the user the exact position of where the bead will be adhered.

A heat-seal appliqué and method for production that provides numbers, letters, logos, graphics, and other indicia which do not change the physical and visual characteristics of the garment to which it is applied, including breathable and/or moisture-wicking characteristics. The appliqué comprises a perimeter textile having a thermally activated adhesive coating and an interior opening, and a textile inlay that fits within the interior opening of the perimeter textile. The adhesive coating on the perimeter textile is the only adhesive on the appliqué. The appliqué can be heat-sealed to any garment by the perimeter textile, leaving the inlay suspended over the garment without obstructing any performance characteristics of the garment or textile. The appliqué is particularly well-suited for lightweight, breathable and/or moisture-wicking textiles commonly used in performance sports apparel.
