Abstract:
Dye mixtures comprising at least one dye of formula together with at least one dye from the group of formulae wherein the radicals have the definitions given in the claims, are suitable for dyeing or printing cellulose-containing fibre materials, while at the same time exhibiting good build-up behaviour, and yield dyeings of deep shade having good fastness properties.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to dyestuffs of the formula (I) wherein R1 is H or (C1–C4)-alkyl; R2 is H or (C1–C4)-alkyl; each of X1 and X2, independently, is a labile atom or group; and M is H, an alkali metal, an ammonium ion or the equivalent of an alkaline earth metal, wherein compounds wherein R1 and R2 are H are excluded, mixtures of the dyestuffs of the formula (I) with dyestuffs of the formula (II) wherein each of X3 and X4, independently, is a labile atom or group; L is an organic linking group; and M is H, an alkali metal, an ammonium ion or the equivalent of an alkaline earth metal, processes for the preparation of said dyestuffs and said dyestuff mixtures and their use for dyeing and printing hydroxy- and/or carboxamido-containing fiber materials.
Abstract:
Described are mixtures of fiber-reactive azo dyes whereby black dyeings, including prints, are obtained on hydroxyl- and/or carboxamido-containing fiber materials, such as cellulose fiber materials, wool and synthetic polyamide fibers. The dye mixtures comprise one or more disazo dyes conforming to the general formula (1), one or more monoazo dyes conforming to the general formula (3), one or more monoazo dyes of the general formula (4) and/or (4a), optionally one or more monoazo dyes (2) and optionally one or more monoazo dyes conforming to the general formula (3a), as described in claim 1.
Abstract:
A process is provided for printing a graphic image onto a cue sports cloth to form a cloth layout including a bed cloth and cushion cloths. The process comprises supplying the desired dimensions of the bed cloth and cushion cloths to a digital computer, accessing a digital image, and scaling and dividing the digital image to a cloth, with part of the image on the bed cloth a nd part of the image on at least one of the cushion cloths. The image is then printed onto the cloth using a digital printing apparatus and suitable inks to create a piece of printed cloth having on it a series of image portions making up the bed cloth and the cushions. When separated and fitted to the cue sports table, it, the bed cloth and cushion cloths co-ordinate to create a printed image having a portion of the said image on the bed cloth and co-ordinating portion of the image on at least one cushion cloth.
Abstract:
Reactive dyes of formula (U) wherein Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 are each independently of the others hydrogen or unsubstituted or substituted C1-C4alkyl, A is the radical of a monoazo, polyazo, metal complex azo, anthraquinone, phthalocyanine, formazan or dioxazine chromophore, D is the radical of a diazo component, of the benzene or naphthalene series, X is halogen, 3-carboxpyridin-1-yl, 3-carbamoylpyridin-1-yl, hydroxy, C1-C4alkoxy unsubstituted or substituted in the alkyl moiety, phenoxy unsubstituted or substituted in the phenyl moiety, C1-C4alkylthio unsubstituted or substituted in the alkyl moiety, unsubstituted or substituted amino, or an N-heterocycle which may or may not contain further hetero atoms, and Y is vinyl or a radical nullCH2nullCH2nullU and U is a group removable under alkaline conditions, are suitable for dyeing cellulosic or amide-group-containing fibre materials.
Abstract:
Process for dichromatic or trichromatic dyeing or printing of natural or synthetic polyamide fibre material, which comprises using at least one blue-dyeing fibre-reactive anthraquinone dye of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently of one another are hydrogen or substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl, X.sub.1 is halogen, B.sub.1 is an organic bridge member and V.sub.1 is an aliphatic or aromatic amine containing a fibre-reactive group, together with at least one fibre-reactive sulfo group containing yellow- or orange-dyeing dye or together with at least one fibre-reactive sulfo group containing red-dyeing dye. Level dyeings with good fastness properties are obtained.
Abstract:
A process for the dyeing of textiles consisting of wool without anti-felt finish or wool having an anti-felt finish in the form of a coating of a polyimine resin or a polyacrylic resin, or textiles containing such wool, with reactive dyes according to the exhaust method, which comprises dyeing said textiles in aqueous dyeing baths containing at least one commercial reactive dyestuff the starting pH of which is in the weakly acidic to neutral range, by heating rapidly to the dyeing temperature of 110.degree. to 125.degree. C. immediately after addition of the dissolved dyestuff, and by dyeing at this temperature for 10 to 20 minutes, while omitting the addition of pH-regulating substances during the whole dyeing operation.
Abstract:
Water-soluble azo dyes of the formula WHEREIN Y is a fiber-reactive group, n is 1 or 2, m is 0, 1 or 2 and the benzene rings A and B may be further substituted are disclosed. They are useful for dyeing nitrogen-containing fibers and cellulose materials and are distinguished by very bright and brilliant shades, possessing good stability, fastness to light, wet processing and fixation.
