Abstract:
A laundry treatment apparatus includes a tub that receives water and having a tub opening; a drum rotatably disposed in the tub; a detergent introduction unit disposed in a top cover of the laundry treatment apparatus and configured to receive an additive; a water supply unit that selectively allows and interrupts a supply of water to the tub and to the detergent introduction unit; and a controller configured to: control a rotation of the drum in a state in which water is supplied to the tub; control the water supply unit to allow and interrupt at least a portion of water to be supplied to the tub to the detergent introduction unit; and control the water supply unit to supply water to the detergent introduction unit by performing a water supply operation having a plurality of water supply periods that clear water from the detergent introduction unit.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a washing machine including a time setting unit configured to set an operation time, and a controller configured to control the laundry treatment operation so as to be terminated before expiration of the operating time by adjusting at least one of a level of water supplied to a washing tub to execute at least one of the wash and the rinse, a number of times of executing the rinse and an execution time of the spin-dry, according to the operation time set through the time setting unit.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a laundry machine and a controlling method, which can remove allergens on the laundry. A controlling method of a laundry machine includes a mite-killing step of supplying seam to a drum to make laundry exposed to a hot environment at or over a temperature and for or over a duration of time, wherein the temperature and the duration are predetermined enough to kill house dust mites on the laundry; a rinsing step of rinsing the laundry; and a spin-drying step of spin-drying the rinsed laundry. The present invention has an advantageous effect of removing allergens including house dust mites, animal hair and pollens efficiently. In addition, if the house dust mites are killed by using steam, energy efficiency is high and an effect of mite-killing is great.
Abstract:
A washing machine is disclosed. The washing machine includes a pump that is configured to drain or circulate water and that comprises a motor that is configured to operate the pump. The washing machine further includes a motor driver that is configured to supply operation power to the motor. The washing machine further includes a motor controller that is configured to set a rotation speed of the motor and that is configured to supply, to the motor driver, a signal that controls the motor. The washing machine further includes a current sensor that is configured to measure a current supplied from the motor driver to the motor. The washing machine further includes a speed sensor. The washing machine further includes a water level sensor. The washing machine further includes a main controller that is configured to start or stop operation of the motor by supplying a control command.
Abstract:
A washing machine includes a machine housing, a tub that is suspended on a plurality of support arms in the machine housing, and a washing drum that is rotatably mounted in the tub, at least one of the support arms being equipped with a force sensor, which generates a force measurement signal that is representative of the force acting upon the respective support arm. Moreover, the washing machine is equipped with a level sensor, which generates a level signal that is representative of the water level in the washing drum, and an electronic control unit that processes the force measurement signal and the level signal, and which is configured to control the sequence of a washing program of the washing machine in dependence on the force measurement signal and the level signal.
Abstract:
A laundry treating machine is provided. The laundry treating machine may include a tub to receive wash water, a drum rotatably provided in the tub, an air supply device to supply air to the tub, a lint filter to filter lint from the air circulated by the air supply device, a filter cleaning device to supply cleaning water to the lint filter to remove the lint from the lint filter, and a cooling water supply device to supply cooling water to an inner surface of the tub such that moisture contained in air is condensed at the inner surface of the tub.
Abstract:
A method for controlling the performance of a washing machine wash cycle wherein the wash cycle uses a set of wash cycle parameters, the method including receiving feedback of one or more previous wash cycles, adjusting a subset of the set of wash cycle parameters responsive to the feedback and outputting consequences of said adjusting.
Abstract:
A washer-dryer is provided with a time shift function for performing timer presetting processing on the basis of a time shift computation result which indicates an operation start time suitable for operation. The washer-dryer includes: an input operation unit for allowing a user to perform operations for operating the washer-dryer; a display unit for displaying information relating to the operation of the washer-dryer; and an operation control unit for controlling the operation of the washer-dryer on the basis of the time shift computation result. When a start button on the input operation unit is operated by the user, the operation control unit automatically performs the timer presetting processing on the basis of the time shift computation result and also displays a timer preset time at the display unit.
