Abstract: A washing machine is disclosed. The washing machine includes an outer tub that is configured to hold water. The washing machine further includes an inner tub that is located in the outer tub and that is configured to hold laundry and spin. The washing machine further includes a circulation flowpath that is configured to circulate water discharged from the outer tub. The washing machine further includes a first nozzle that is configured to jet water supplied from the circulation flowpath to the inner tub. The washing machine further includes an adjustable pump that is configured to pump water through the circulation flowpath to the first nozzle, the adjustable pump being configured to adjust flow of water to the first nozzle.

Abstract: A method for detecting an unbalance error of a machine-learning-based washing machine and the washing machine are provided. The method identifies whether laundry is within an inner drum of the washing machine using a laundry movement identifying model provided in an AI device of a server or the washing machine, measures an unbalance value on the basis of data of unbalance when the laundry is not moving, and then detects an unbalance error. The unbalance error can be more precisely detected without using additional components. The AI device for detecting the unbalance error of the present disclosure can be associated with drones (unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)), robots, augmented reality (AR) devices, virtual reality (VR) devices, devices related to 5G service, and the like.

Abstract: Washing machine control method including an outer tub and an inner tub containing clothes rotatably disposed therein. The method includes detecting an amount of dry clothes, supplying water between the outer and inner tub such that the clothes are not wetted, discharging water from the outer tub to a circulation channel and introducing water into the inner tub through the circulation channel to wet the clothes, discharging unabsorbed water collected in the outer tub to the circulation channel such that a water level in the outer tub becomes zero while detecting a flow rate of water, and determining an amount of circulation water discharged to the circulation channel based on the flow rate detected until a water level in the outer tub becomes zero and determining properties of the clothes based on the amount of circulation water and a predetermined anticipated amount of circulation water corresponding to the amount of dry clothes detected.

Abstract: A washing method according to the present invention comprises: a first rotation step for rotating an inner tub; a rotating direction detecting step for detecting the rotating direction of the inner tub; and a second rotation step for starting to rotate the inner tub in the opposite direction to the rotating direction of the inner tub when the rotation of the inner tub stops in the first rotation step. When the inner tub stops over a predetermined time and then restarts, the inner tub starts to rotate in the opposite direction to the rotating direction when the inner tub stops, thereby reducing the eccentricity of the inside of the inner tub, inhibiting collisions between the inner tub and an outer tub, reducing noise during collisions, and improving the rotation performance of the inner tub.

Abstract: A control method of a laundry treatment apparatus is disclosed. The control method includes rotating the drum at a predetermined first number of rotations to measure the weight of the laundry stored in the drum (a laundry weight measurement step), rotating the drum at a predetermined second number of rotations to determine the magnitude of the dynamic unbalance of the drum (an unbalance measurement step), accelerating the drum to a target number of rotations, which is greater than the first number of rotations and the second number of rotations, when the magnitude of the dynamic unbalance measured at the unbalance measurement step is less than a predetermined reference value (an acceleration step), interrupting the rotation of the drum when the variation per unit time of current supplied to the stator during execution of the acceleration step is equal to or greater than a predetermined reference variation (a first interruption step), rotating the drum at the first number of rotations to determine the weight of the laundry stored in the drum (a laundry weight remeasurement step), and interrupting the rotation of the drum when the deviation between the laundry weight measured at the laundry weight remeasurement step and the laundry weight measured at the laundry weight measurement step is equal to or greater than a predetermined reference deviation (a second interruption step).
