摘要： A foot controller includes: a pedal portion that is to be depressed by a foot thereon; a pedal stand on which one end of the pedal portion is supported so that the pedal portion freely pivots about a pivot portion; a speed control member that controls an operation speed of a sewing machine; and a depression suppression member that regulates and controls a depressing operation of the pedal portion in accordance with the depression speed of the pedal portion. In response to a depressing operation which does not involve an abrupt speed change of the pedal portion, the depression suppression member is not operated and the operation speed of the sewing machine is controlled according to an amount of depression of the pedal portion. In response to a depressing operation which involves an abrupt speed change of the pedal portion, the depression suppression member is operated.

摘要： A sewing machine control device performs a closed loop control of an induction motor without using an encoder for detecting the motor speed. The control device includes an inverter for driving the induction motor, and controls the inverter output so that the actual speed of the motor is brought into coincidence with a target speed instructed from a speed instruction device. When the control device executes the inverter control, it uses not only the target speed fed from the speed instruction device but also a detection signal generated from a needle position detector that represents the position of a needle bar and the moving speed thereof.

摘要： This invention is a dual foot pedal control for a sewing machine consisting of a foot activated tiltable pedal assembly mounted on a base member which is attached to a stabilizing mat. The stabilizing mat is positioned between the legs of a sewing machine table, on which a sewing machine is mounted. The tiltable pedal assembly is connected by rod to a sewing machine control arm which activates the sewing machine. In addition, the sewing machine is speed controlled by the counter-clockwise pressure on the pedal assembly which is transmitted by rod to the sewing machine control arm. The pedal assembly, when foot-tilted clockwise, activates an air control valve which directs compressed air to an air cylinder which is connected to and opens the presser foot of the sewing machine. When tilted counter-clockwise the air control valve dissipates air to the air cylinder allowing the presser foot to lower and clamp the material to be sewn.

摘要： A load of an electronic sewing machine is self-diagonosed by a control system to cause a DC motor to be operated under control to drive upper and lower shafts of the sewing machine. The control system includes an evaluating device to which a voltage value applied to the DC motor and a rotating speed of the DC motor, both detected, are inputted for determining a current value supplied to the DC motor and a power loss of the DC motor. These data are supplied to a fuzzy inference unit for inferring an optimum rotating speed of the DC motor. A control command signal representing an excessive degree of the actual power loss in reference to the rated power loss is outputted from the fuzzy inference unit to the DC motor for the control of the electric power to be supplied thereto.
