    摘要: In an embodiment, a process of purifying a polycarbonate comprises: polymerizing a dihydroxy compound and a carbonate source via an interfacial reaction in the presence of a catalyst to form a product mixture comprising an aqueous phase and an organic phase, wherein the organic phase comprises the polycarbonate, the catalyst, ions, and a solvent having a boiling point Tb; heating the product mixture to greater than or equal to Tb; separating the aqueous phase and the organic phase at a temperature greater than or equal to Tb to form a separated organic phase and a separated aqueous phase; extracting the catalyst from the separated organic phase; and extracting the ions from the separated organic phase; wherein if a centrifuge is used in the extracting of the catalyst, the extracting of the ions, or both, the process further comprises cooling a stream entering the centrifuge to less than Tb.

    摘要: There is provided a method for preparing a low-molecular weight poly(alkylene carbonate) of which the molecular weight and chain shape are precisely controlled, by introducing a phosphorous compound having a hydroxyl group as a chain transfer agent in order to regulate the molecular weight, in alternating copolymerizing an epoxide compound and carbon dioxide by using trivalent metal complex prepared from a Salen type ligand containing a quaternary ammonium salt, and a polymer prepared by the method.Since poly(alkylene carbonate) prepared according to the present invention includes a phosphate or phosphonate group in the polymer chain, it has flame-retarding property.

    摘要: Provided is a polycarbonate preparation method, comprising the following steps: a) mixing a phenoxide water aqueous solution of a bisphenol and/or a polyphenol with a phosgene and an inert organic solvent, reacting, and generating a polycarbonate oligomer; b) highly emulsifying the oligomer by reinforced micromixing to form a stable emulsion; and c) introducing the emulsion into a polycondensation reactor for a chain extending reaction, separating and finally obtaining the polycarbonate. Through the reinforced micromixing, the present method can prepare the high-molecular-weight polycarbonate without any catalysts, thus simplifying the post-treatment process of the product and improving product quality.

    摘要: Provided are a polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer having a carbon tetrachloride concentration of less than 4 ppm by mass, and the following production method for producing the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer. More specifically, provided is a method of continuously producing a polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer, the method comprising the steps of: (A) continuously or intermittently taking a polymerization reaction liquid, which is obtained by polymerizing a dihydric phenol compound, a carbonate precursor, and a specific polyorganosiloxane in the presence of an alkaline compound aqueous solution and a water-insoluble organic solvent, out of a reactor; (B) separating the polymerization reaction liquid taken out in the step (A) into an aqueous phase and a water-insoluble organic solvent phase; (C) washing the water-insoluble organic solvent phase separated in the step (B), followed by separation thereof into an aqueous phase and a water-insoluble organic solvent phase; (D) concentrating the water-insoluble organic solvent phase separated in the step (C); and (E) recovering part or all of the water-insoluble organic solvent removed by evaporation in the step (D), followed by distillation purification thereof in a distillation column, the water-insoluble organic solvent obtained in the step (E) being reused as at least part of the water-insoluble organic solvent in the step (A) or as an extraction solvent for the aqueous phase separated in the step (B), or as both thereof, in the step (E), the distillation purification being performed while a concentration of the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer in a column bottom liquid of the distillation column is controlled to 6% by mass or less.
