    摘要: The present invention describes a process of preparing a catalyst for olefin polymerization comprising: (i) treating a magnesium metal with an organohalide along with an internal donor to obtain a reaction mixture having solid component (A); (ii) treating the reaction mixture having solid component (A) with an acyl halide to obtain a reaction mixture having solid component (B); and (iii) treating the reaction mixture having solid component (B) of step (ii) with a transition metal compound to obtain the catalyst. The present invention also relates to a process for preparation of a catalyst system from said catalyst and preparation of a polyolefins from the catalyst system.

    摘要: The present invention provides a liquid organomagnesium precursor having formula {Mg(OR′)X}.a{MgX2}.b{Mg(OR′)2}.c{R′OH}, wherein R′ is selected from a hydrocarbon group, X is selected from a halide group, and a:b:c is in range of 0.1-99.8:0.1-99.8:0.1-99.8, and a process for preparing the same. The said process comprises contacting a magnesium source with an organohalide and alcohol in a solvent to form the liquid organomagnesium precursor. The present invention also provides a catalyst system using the organomagnesium precursor and its use thereof for polymerization of olefins. An illustrative example of the claimed process to make the organomagnesium precursor is: At 25° C., magnesium (powder or turnings) is added to organohalide, followed by alcohol in toluene. After heating to 90° C. and keeping there for 6 h the solution became viscous.

    摘要: The present invention relates to regular shaped magnesium particles containing attrition resistant precursors and procatalysts thereof and processes for their synthesis and their use in the manufacture of polyolefins. More particularly, the present invention relates to a process for the synthesis of a said precursor particles which give highly active and improved surface area procatalysts for producing high bulk density polyolefin resins containing low fines and capable of incorporating high rubber content. In particular, the present invention relates to process for the synthesis of an attrition resistant precursors to prepare an attrition resistant Zeigler Natta procatalysts synthesized by using the precursors and to the polyolefin resin synthesized using the said procatalysts.
