摘要: An apparatus for removal of tubular pipe members, and particularly PVC pipe, from in-ground securement is provided. The apparatus includes an inverted sleeve for surrounding the pipe, with an engagement plug mounted within the pipe to capture the pipe between the engagement plug and the sleeve. An expander plug is directed interiorly of the engagement plug to expand the engagement plug to accordingly grasp the pipe for removal.

摘要: An implement for setting individual conduit units in end-to-end stacking relation. First and second members are resiliently biased in spaced relation to each other. Cleats extend from the spaced members for supporting an end of a conduit unit. A toggle extends between the spaced members with its arm pivotally joined to those members at one end and to a common knee at their other end. In a preferred embodiment, the toggle is an over-center device having a stop with the cleats being spaced from each other sufficiently to engage an end of a conduit unit when the toggle is in the over-center position. Flexing of the toggle from the over-center position results in a withdrawal of the cleats from the conduit unit end. Positive release of the cleats from the conduit unit end is assured by members extending from each of the spaced members toward the other of the spaced members to engage a conduit unit supported by the cleats during flexing of the toggle. At least one of the toggle arms may be adjustable to accommodate varying sizes of conduit, or variations in actual size within a nominal conduit size, and provision is made to center the implement within a conduit unit while positioning a supported conduit unit in end-to-end relation with another.

摘要: A lifting device for lifting a tubular pile comprises a hoisting member including a centreline, a plurality of engagement elements which are moveably mounted to the hoisting member at angular distance with respect to each other about the centreline and actuators for moving the respective engagement elements with respect to the hoisting member. The engagement elements are moveable in longitudinal direction of the centreline along respective guides of the hoisting member. The guides are inclined with respect to the centreline such that the engagement elements move in radial direction of the centreline when being moved in longitudinal direction of the centreline. The actuators are functionally interconnected such that under operating conditions the actuators move the engagements elements simultaneously until a first one of the actuators reaches a counterforce which is higher than a counterforce of a second one of the actuators, after which the second one of the actuators is moved further.

摘要: A tool and method for hoisting an longitudinal end of an offshore wind turbine component which is in a horizontal orientation. The tool is after being attached to a lifting block to be moved into a proximate position in which gripping members of the tool are longitudinally spaced from the longitudinal end but the radial contour of the tool at least overlaps with the radial contour of the longitudinal end. While the gripping members are in a retracted position guiding actuators can move the tool from the proximate position into a gripping position longitudinally aligned with the longitudinal end in which the gripping members are movable to engage said surface of the longitudinal end, thereby connecting the longitudinal end to the tool and suspending the longitudinal end from the lifting block so that the longitudinal end can consequently be hoisted.

摘要: The invention relates to a pile upending system for upending a pile such as a monopile for the foundation of offshore wind turbines, the pile upending system comprising; a pivotally mounted pile support frame having a seat for engaging an outside wall of a pile, the pile support frame being pivotable around a support frame axis of rotation for allowing the seat to support the pile during upending, a cable system for supporting an, in use outboard, end of a pile, comprising one or more tensioned or tensionable cables having an outboard end provided with a hoisting member for supporting the outboard end of the pile during upending of said pile, an outboard support system comprising a frame member for, in use, extending outboard and supporting the hoisting member of the cable system, wherein the outboard support system is arranged with respect to the pile support frame such that the frame member extends transverse with respect to the support frame axis of rotation for arranging the hoisting member at a distance from the seat and aligned with the seat such that a pile may engage the hoisting member upon longitudinal movement of the pile along the seat.
