    摘要: A sheet conveying device includes a conveyance belt, a conveyance plate, an air intake portion, and a charging portion. The conveyance belt has a plurality of belt openings formed in a previously-set suction attraction region in end portions thereof in a width direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of a sheet, and conveys the sheet. The conveyance plate has a plurality of platen openings formed therein at positions corresponding to the belt openings in the width direction, and is disposed on a back surface side of the conveyance belt. The air intake portion suctions air through the belt openings and the platen openings from the back surface side of the conveyance plate. The charging portion charges a previously-set electrostatic attraction region in a center portion in the width direction of the conveyance belt.

    摘要: A conveyer belt is looped on rollers placed over and at both ends of a paper sheet storage part and bill holding members for holding bills are fixed onto an outer surface of the conveyer belt at determined interval. The bill holding members themselves have grip force by which the conveyer belt bends inward and the bills are held. When the bill holding members pass over the roller on a reception side, their free ends get apart from the conveyer belt and the bill holding members receive the bills. The bill holding members grip portions near ends of the bills when passing between rollers. When the bill holding members pass under the roller on a release side, their free ends get apart from the conveyer belt. The bill holding members release the bills, allowing the bills to fall onto stacked bills for staking storage.

    摘要: A media sheet transport including a belt for supporting the media thereon. The belt is operably connected to a drive mechanism for moving the belt in a process direction past an image marking unit. The belt has a plurality of openings therein. A vacuum plenum has a surface disposed below the belt and is operably connected to a vacuum source. The vacuum plenum is adapted to applying a negative pressure to the media for holding the media to the belt. An electrostatic hold down apparatus includes a first tacking roller spaced in a cross-process direction from a second tacking roller. The first and second tacking rollers are engagable with the belt. The first tacking roller is disposed to engage the inboard edge of the media, and the second tacking roller is disposed to engage the outboard edge of the media. The first and second tacking rollers impart an electrostatic charge to the edges of the media for electrostatically securing the inboard and outboard edges of the media to the belt.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, an apparatus includes a leading end gripper and a trailing end gripper provided on a drum. The leading end gripper is moved by a leading end gripper driving mechanism. The trailing end gripper switches between a standby position where this gripper is stopped relatively to the rotating drum and a grip position where this gripper rotates with the drum. The leading end gripper and a recording medium pass through an inside of the trailing end gripper stopped in the standby position. If a trailing end of the recording medium reaches the trailing end gripper, the trailing end gripper is released and switches to the grip position. Thus, the trailing end of the medium is held on the drum by the trailing end gripper. The trailing end gripper moves in a rotating direction of the drum while continuing nipping the trailing end of the medium.
