摘要： A spool configured to support a roll of material. The spool comprises an arbor, a first flange, and a second flange. The first flange includes a first plurality of flange panels that are rotatably connected to respective arbor panels of the arbor at a first arbor edge of the arbor. The second flange is connected to a second arbor edge of the arbor. The first flange is configured to transition between a retention configuration and an open configuration. In the retention configuration, the roll of material is substantially prevented from removal from the arbor along an arbor axis by the first and second flanges. In the open configuration, the roll of material is removable from the arbor and receivable on the arbor in the arbor direction.

摘要： A manually operated wheeled reel support and dispensing cart for supporting multiple reels of material and for dispensing the material from the reels. The cart includes a cart frame having spaced side members, handles for manual cart handling and a top cross brace, with the frame being connected to a support plate and wheel assembly. A plurality of spindle hinge elements, each having a pivot opening, are fixed in spaced relation on one of the frame side members and receive L-shaped removable spindle elements for pivotal opening and closing movement. When open, the spindle elements are supported so that reels can be added or removed. When the spindle elements are closed they secure reels of material to the cart. The cart mechanism has a stop plate and a lock plate fixed to respective frame side members to ensure against inadvertent separation of the spindle elements from the cart and to ensure locking of the spindle elements at their closed positions. The frame is also provided with storage lock plates and spindle storage rings for storing and securing spindles that have been removed from their spindle hinge elements.

The tension device, comprising a stationary arm and a pivoting arm, these being connected by a compression spring, is mounted on the structure's horizontal support members through bushings, and in such a way as to allow the tension device to traverse the entire length of the structure's horizontal axis, back and forth, and parallel to the rod containing the line spools, whereby allowing access to apply tension to any individual line spool. A grooved wheel, attached to the pivoting arm's uppermost end, when depressed against a line spool's rim, creates tension on the spool, and thus on the line contained there-on, so the line can be reeled tightly onto a fishing reel so as to avoid a backlashing effect.

摘要： Leg brackets for the reel holder have a bore between the side surfaces of its body portion. The bores are capable of receiving existing conduit which is combined with the leg brackets to form a holder for wire reels. The body portion has upwardly angled leg sockets extending in from each end and capable of receiving legs that support the body portion in a reel holding position. These legs can also be formed of existing conduit. A full width bottom slot is provided in the body portion which is combined with a cinching bolt at a lower portion of the body portion in the area of the slot. The cinching bolt when tightened being arranged to move the sides of the slot toward each other to bind the legs in their sockets. When the cinching bolt is released, the legs can be released from the body portion for disassembly of the holder.
