    摘要: A paper ejection device holds paper ejected out from an upstream device through a paper-ejection opening of the upstream device. The paper ejection device includes: a pair of side fences arranged parallel and perpendicularly to a paper ejection direction, the paper ejection direction being a direction in which paper is ejected through the paper-ejection opening, to restrict positions of edges of the ejected paper in a width direction; and a control unit that, when an ejection speed at which the paper is ejected through the paper-ejection opening is higher than a predetermined speed, controls spacing between the pair of side fences to be narrower than spacing between the pair of side fences for paper ejected at a speed equal to or lower than the predetermined speed.

    摘要: In an image forming apparatus, a sheet stacking device for stacking sheets sequentially driven out of the apparatus body has a stack tray including a base, and a pair of side fences mounted on the base and each having an inclined portion. The side fences are moved to positions matching the width of sheets beforehand. When the sheet driven out of the apparatus body falls onto the base, the opposite widthwise edges of the sheet are reshaped in an inverted arch configuration by the inclined portions of the side fences. Hence, sheets sequentially stacked on the base have their opposite edges accurately aligned with each other.

    摘要: The invention provides an option-type paper feeding device that can contribute to enhancing printing operation efficiency while taking advantage of variable printing speed in a printing apparatus. A high-volume paper feeding device includes: a paper stacking section; a paper feeding mechanism; and an intermediate transport section connected to a paper feeding section of a printing apparatus such as a stencil printing apparatus. The intermediate transport section includes: a first paper transport means; and a second paper transport means provided downstream of the first paper transport means, and an inkjet printing section is provided above the first paper transport means. The transport speed of the first paper transport means is fixed to a speed suitable for printing by the inkjet printing section, while the transport speed of the second paper transport means is variable. The transport speed of the second paper transport means is adjusted by control means (not shown in drawings) in accordance with the printing speed of a printing apparatus connected to the high-volume paper feeding device.

    摘要: A sheet ejection device includes a sheet tray on which ejected sheets are stacked, a pair of side fences for restricting positions of the ejected sheets along a lateral direction perpendicular to an ejection direction, and at least one rib is formed vertically on each inner side of the side fences. The ribs are configured to contact with side edges of each of the ejected sheets while the each of the ejected sheets falls down to the sheet tray to align the ejected sheet along the lateral direction. The ejected sheets are aligned adequately by the ribs. According to the sheet ejection device, superior sheet ejection performance can be brought without affected by its environment.
