Abstract:
A wrapping material for wrapping an item, such as a floral grouping is provided. The wrapping material has a bonding material on a surface so that, when the wrapping material is formed into a wrapper, the wrapper may be releasably attached to a mounting surface, such as a board or wall, by way of the bonding material.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for preparing an item or plurality of items for shipment. Disposing one or a plurality of items on a rigid surface having a deformable foam layer with a bonding material thereon wherin the items are connectingly bonded to the foam layer which is deformed in response to the items. The items may be items of china, floral containers, and flower pots, or other similar items.
Abstract:
A shipping carton including a box assembly and a plurality of pots containing floral groupings. A bonding material is applied to the base of the box assembly and the pots containing floral groupings are disposed in the retaining space of the box so that the bonding material engages and connects each of the pots containing floral groupings. Retaining inserts may be disposed in the retaining space of the box to retain the growing medium contained in the pots within the pots during movement or shipment of the box assembly. The retaining inserts may be secured to the inner surface of the side walls of the box through a securing means such as a clip to prevent displacement of the retaining inserts during movement or shipment of the box assembly.

Abstract:
Retaining flaps for shipping cartons, with bonding material disposed on at least a portion of the flaps, are provided. The flaps are interposed between delicate items, such as, for example, floral grouping assemblies, to hold the delicate items essentially immobile within a shipping carton in order to prevent damage from internal movement of the delicate items when the shipping carton is transported. The bonding material disposed on the flaps releasably connects to portions of the floral grouping wrappings and to portions of the internal surface of the shipping carton. The flaps can be constructed of a flexible or a rigid material.
Abstract:
A shipping carton including a box assembly and a plurality of floral grouping assemblies. The box assembly has a inner surface partially enclosing a retaining space. An adhesive or cohesive is applied to at least a portion of the inner surface of the box assembly. The floral grouping assemblies are disposed in the retaining space and a portion of each of the floral grouping assemblies is removably and adhesively or cohesively connected to the box assembly for preventing substantial movement of the floral grouping assemblies during shipment.

Abstract:
The disclosure is directed to a package for containing a plurality of substantially rectangular assay plates, each plate having a peripheral flange. In one embodiment, the package comprises a cavity having extending therein one or more sloped buttress elements spaced across at least a portion of a top corner, and one or more adjacent protrusions extending from the bottom and at least partially up one or both sidewalls, each set of protrusions forming grooves therebetween into which fit the flanges of respective assay plates. The package can comprise a transparent polymer through which product information located on the assay plates can be read or scanned.
