    摘要: The present disclosure generally relates to a venting system that includes a wall of a lid or a container. The lid or container defines a central longitudinal axis, and a line segment that is measured from the longitudinal axis to an outermost surface of the lid or container, and a pressure relief feature that is disposed along the lid or container. The pressure relief feature includes a thinned region of the lid or container that defines a minimum thickness that is less than 40% of a maximum thickness of the respective lid or container.

    摘要: A package includes: a packaging container having a containing section open at the top and formed by a bottom and by a peripheral wall rising from the peripheral edge of the bottom, the packaging container further having a flange formed thereon, the flange being provided along the entire circumference of the peripheral wall and protruding outward relative to the containing section from the upper end of the peripheral wall; a contained object contained within the containing section and producing vapor when heated; and a top seal joined to the flange along the entire circumference thereof to seal the inside of the containing section. The packaging container has a curved section where a part of the peripheral wall is curved toward the containing section. A maximum deformation point is formed in the curved section, the maximum deformation point being the point where the deformation of the peripheral wall is maximum when pressure within the containing section increases to deform the top seal. The deformed top seal and the flange are pulled in the direction in which the deformed top seal and the flange are separated from each other, and when pressure within the containing section exceeds a set value, the top seal is separated from the flange at the maximum deformation point to release vapor within the containing section.

    摘要: A packaging container which includes a synthetic resin container body having a flange part and the cover member heat-sealed to the flange part of the container body. The cover member includes (1) an upper member in which inner surfaces of resin films are positioned opposite to each other to form an abutted part, an unsealed part communicating with the inside of the container body is formed by heat-sealing a peripheral edge part of the abutted part excluding one side of the abutted part forming a base part, and the steam releasing seal part is formed at the abutted part and (2) a lower member which covers a lower surface of the upper member and in which a steam guide part communicating with the inside of the container body is formed at or near the base part of the abutted part.

    摘要: An inverting, rupturable, pressure relieving apparatus includes a structure having a wall for containing pressurized fluid and an asymmetrical indentation in the wall. The indentation has a base connecting the indentation to the wall, a protuberant side for contacting the pressurized fluid, a recessed side opposite the protuberant side, and an axis about perpendicular to the base and extending through the center of the indentation at the base. The asymmetry of the indentation creates an inversion initiation face in the indentation having a smaller angle with the base and less resistance to inversion than the remainder of the indentation.
