Abstract:
A carton can be initially opened by pulling a gripping tab of a tear strip to detach of cover from the remaining body of the carton except along a hinge body portion on one side of the carton. With this arrangement, the carton can be opened by folding the cover back relative to the front panel along a hinge axis. Closing of the carton is performed by initially pivoting the cover such that a front portion of the cover extends about and overlaps a front panel portion of the carton. Then, the cover is pushed down, causing a portion of the hinge-defining strip to fold and the cover to shift downward so as to extend about and overlap portions of each of the sides of the carton.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composite container comprising a bottom film layer and a top film layer at least partially adhered to the bottom film layer. The top film layer is scored to form at least one resealable flap and at least one pull tab which is not adhered to the bottom film layer. The bottom film layer comprises at least one cavity opening. A cardboard layer is adhered on its lower surface to the upper surface of the top film layer, wherein the cardboard layer has at least one cavity opening which is substantially aligned with the scoring of the top film layer resealable flap and the cardboard layer is perforated to define a perimeter of at least one pull tab which is substantially aligned with and adhered, on its underside, to the upper surface of the top film layer pull tab.
Abstract:
A packaging system for fragile items comprising an outer box, a tray insert and a plurality of inner boxes. The system components protect the items, for example, glass pipes, during distribution, and easily convert into a display system for the items at the point of retail sale. Each item is contained in its own inner box, which includes one or more viewing windows to allow a purchaser easily to view the items. The inner boxes fit removably within paired holes in the tray insert, which provides multiple points of contact to hold the boxes in place, yet allows flexibility to protect the items from impact forces and to allow easy access by a purchaser. The tray insert fits within the outer box, which provides impact and debris protection during transit, and converts to a display mode. Both the outer box and each inner box may be marked with a code to allow inventory tracking.
Abstract:
A packing box of a portable device is provided, which includes a main plate body and a frame plate body. Plates, which are adjacent to the main plate body and the frame plate body, are respectively disposed with fold-lines; such that a first side plate of the main plate body overlaps a first bonding plate and a third side plate overlaps a second bonding plate to form an accommodating space.: first frame plate, a second frame plate and a third frame plate of the frame plate body are overlapped with one another, so that the first frame plate, the second fame plate and the third frame plate, which are overlapped with one another, separate the accommodating space through a third bounding plate of the frame plate body. When the main plate body and the frame plate body are flattened, the plates are parallel to one another and flat-shaped.
Abstract:
A carton for holding a plurality of containers. The carton includes a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels includes a front panel, a back panel, a bottom panel, and at least one top panel. The carton includes a plurality of end flaps each respectively foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels for at least partially closing an end of the carton. The carton further includes a handle having a handle opening in at least one of the front panel and the back panel, and a handle reinforcement flap foldably connected to the at least one top panel.
Abstract:
A package assembly (20) comprises products enclosed in a tubular packet (24) formed from a flexible wrapper (26). A line of weakness (40) encloses an opening region (42) in a side wall (28) of the packet. The, opening region (42) is at least partially removed to create a dispensing opening by tearing the wrapper along the line of weakness (40). In one embodiment, the packet is opened by pressing one of the products through the opening region. In another embodiment, a sticker (150, FIG. 3) is adhered to the opening portion to provide a tab (152, FIG. 3) which can be pulled to open the packet. In a further embodiment, the packet is enclosed in a stiff outer cover (260, FIG. 5). The cover has a reclosable flap (262) bonded to the opening region so that on first opening of the flap, the packet is torn along the line of weakness.
Abstract:
A moist dispenser, the moist sheet dispenser including a receptacle housing for receiving a stack of moist sheets, the receptacle housing including a dispensing opening through which a sheet can be withdrawn from the stack, the dispenser including a lid that has an open position to provide access to the dispensing opening so that a sheet can be withdrawn from the stack through the dispensing opening and a closed position covering the dispensing opening, wherein the lid defines a periphery and the receptacle housing defines a periphery and the peripheries of the lid and the receptacle housing meet when the lid is in the closed position.
Abstract:
A package (2) comprises a box body (4) with an open end (22) at the top, a tongue-lid (6) adapted to close the open end (22), rotatably connected to a rear edge of the open end (22) by a lid hinge (30), and an inner pack (8) enclosed in the box body (4). The inner pack (8) includes an envelope (13) enclosing tobacco items (10) and keeping the inner pack (8) airtight.
Abstract:
The present disclosure, in one embodiment, relates to a packaging assembly for holding liquids, viscous material, or particulate material. The packaging assembly includes a carton having side and bottom walls. The packaging assembly also includes a self-supporting plastic liner that fits inside of the carton for containing liquids, viscous material, or particulate material. The liner has either a substantially circular or substantially oval cylindrical side wall, a closed bottom end characterized by a bottom wall formed integral with said side wall, and an open top end having an outwardly-projecting rim. The rim has a radially-extending flange portion, and a dependent skirt portion, wherein when the self-supporting plastic liner is inside of the carton, the radially extending flange portion supports the liner on at least a portion of the carton. A lidding material is provided to seal the plastic liner.
Abstract:
A combined shipping and display device formed by folding from a single blank of sheet material such as corrugated cardboard. The device includes a display part, and a removable cover which is hingedly connected to the display part at a score or fold line. Preferably, the cover has two lines of perforation which are parallel and adjacent to the fold line to define a connection strip between the display part and the cover. A pull tab is attached to each end of the connection strip to separate the cover from the display part. When such a merchandising display is used as a shipping carton, the cover closes to enclose the merchandise contained in the display part as well as a portion of the display part. Removing the cover from the display part will open the shipping carton and display the merchandise on the display part.
