The closure includes a body for covering the container opening and a plurality of projecting portions that extend from a periphery of the body. The projecting portions are spaced from one another around the periphery of the body, with each formed to surround a portion of the container rim. A ring is connected to the projecting portions and surrounds the container rim. A plurality of retaining fingers are provided, with each fingers spaced from one another and interleaved within the spacing between adjacent projecting portions. The fingers project inwardly from the ring and include a projected end for engagement with the container rim. The projected ends of the fingers include a varied or undulating surface.

摘要： A tamper-evident package includes a flexible lid sealed to a flange of a container. A localized region of the flange defines a break tab that can be broken to detach a small portion, such as a corner, of the flange from the rest of the flange, in order to begin peeling back the lid to open the package. The lid is affixed to the detachable portion of the flange in a manner effectively preventing the lid from being detached from it. At least that part of the lid overlying the break tab can be sufficiently transparent that the broken or unbroken condition of the break tab can be seen through the lid from an upper side thereof. The break tab thereby serves to indicate whether the lid has been at least partially peeled back.

摘要： In the present invention the bottle or container to be secured is provided with a plastic sleeve with a clear plastic top, providing a view of a safety capsule. The plastic sleeve may be provided with small holes, allowing air to enter within the air space underneath the plastic sleeve. The safety capsule is kept in place with an attachment point to the plastic sleeve. If any tampering occurs such as using an injection needle to enter the bottle through the cork, the safety capsule may be punctured, casing its color to change (e.g., from white to red). This color change is a warning to the end user and seller that a toxic attack to the contents may have occurred.

摘要： A tamper-indicating device is provided for use with two relatively movable parts. In a preferred embodiment, the device is incorporated in a tamper-evident closure having a closure body and a cover for engaging the body in a closed position. A resilient member is carried within the cover, and a releasable retaining structure is provided for holding the resilient member in a maximally deformed first orientation within the cover when the cover is in the closed position. When the cover is opened, the resilient member is released so as to assume a less deformed orientation. The cover includes an inspection means for permitting visual inspection of the released resilient member to indicate that the cover has been moved away from the initially closed position.

The closure comprises a tamper-evident drop band irreversibly moved from a first position to a second position to indicate if the lid has been opened. The lid comprises retention means for non-frangibly holding the band in the first position in an initial closed position, and as the lid is moved towards the open position the band is released from the retention means and moves to the second position.
