摘要: One example provides a floating drive-on pontoon port including a plurality of floating sections pivotally coupled together in series with one another to form an articulating port track base and an articulating starboard track base extending longitudinally in parallel with one another, the port and starboard track bases each having a lower surface to be disposed in water and an opposing upper surface to face away from the water. A port transport track extends longitudinally across the upper surface of the port track base, and a starboard transport track extends longitudinally across the upper surface of the starboard track base and in parallel with the port transport track, the port and starboard transport tracks each comprising a series of spaced apart rollers configured to respectively receive, transport, and support a port pontoon and a starboard pontoon of a pontoon during loading, unloading, and storage of the pontoon boat on the pontoon port. A lateral position of the port and starboard transport tracks relative to one another is adjustable to adjust a lateral distance between the port and starboard transport tracks to accommodate pontoon boats of different widths.

摘要: In constructing and launching a ship, a construction area and a way area, both lying in the same horizontal plane, are provided. Sections of the ship are made in the construction area. Each section rests on a gas cushion support pallet. While so supported, the sections are moved to the way area where they are joined together to form the ship. From the way area and while still supported on the gas cushion support pallets, the ship is moved horizontally to a drydock which is ballasted and rests on an underwater supporting structure. The drydock is then deballasted, moved from its position above the supporting structure, and ballasted. The ship is then floated out of the drydock.

摘要: An automated system is provided for moving a boat from a storage position in a boat garage to a deployed position in a dock channel. The system can include a boat trolley. The boat trolley can include a frame that couples to and rides on rails of a track that extends between the boat garage and the dock channel. The boat trolley can also include bunker supports for supporting the hull of the boat. A dock lift mechanism can lower the trolley frame into the water, from which the boat can be deployed. Once done using the boat, the user can navigate the boat onto the trolley frame, and the dock lift mechanism used to lift the trolley frame and boat out of the water, and the boat trolley operated to move the boat from the dock to the boat garage for storage.

摘要: A carriage-on-base system for use in winched movement of a load, the carriage shaped to support a load to be winched along the base, the carriage having a plurality of depending housings, a plurality of slider of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fixed in respective housings, the base having rails engaged by the sliders with lower surface profiles of the sliders matched to upper surface profile of the rails which they engage, the profiles of the rails and the sliders at their interengagement preventing any movement of the carriage relative to the rails other than sliding movement of the carriage along the rails.

摘要: A refurbishing system for refurbishing a barge includes transport systems that pull the barge out of water and onto a shelf above water level, then pull the barge into a covered blast system and a covered coating system. A reclamation system receives spent abrasive media. The transport systems then move the refurbished barge back into the water. The transport systems move the barge without substantially tilting it or changing its orientation.

摘要: A launching ramp for boats, float planes and the like has several ramp segments that are in normal use of the ramp, generally aligned and sloping downwardly into a body of water. To enable the easy removal of the ramp from the body of water, the ramp segments are hinged and equipped with stops so that when a cable is connected to the outermost end of the ramp, pulling in on the cable will pivot the outermost end segment upwardly until the stops limit this pivotal movement with respect to the next segment, whereupon the second segment will pivot upwardly to its stop position and so on. As the cable is drawn in, the ramp is rolled up towards the shore. The installation of the ramp is a reverse process of unrolling the ramp into the water. With appropriate modification the ramp may be used as a roll-up dock.
