摘要: A method and an unmanned surface vehicle for identifying and remediating a gas leak. The method includes detecting a first condition indicative of the gas leak with a first sensor and sensing environmental conditions near the gas leak with an environmental sensor. The method includes receiving, at a controller operatively coupled to the unmanned surface vehicle, signals representing the first condition indicative of the gas leak the environmental conditions near the gas leak. The method includes determining, by the controller and based on the first condition indicative of the gas leak and the environmental conditions near the gas leak, a navigation plan of the body of water including an ignition zone. The method includes positioning, based on the navigation plan, the unmanned surface vehicle relative to the ignition zone and discharging, by an ignition mechanism, an ignition source into the gas leak to ignite the gas leak.

摘要: A swimming hoop ring is provided for detecting safety of children. In one embodiment, a swimming hoop ring includes a ring made of plastic, wherein the ring is being worn by a child; a top GPS receiver on a top surface of the ring, wherein the top GPS receiver is used to detect location of the ring when the top surface of the ring surfaces onto water; a bottom GPS receiver on a bottom surface of the ring, wherein the bottom GPS server can be used to detect location of the ring when the top GPS receiver fails to operate as the top surface of the ring is flipped upside down into the water; a rf transmitter included in the ring, wherein the rf transmitter can be used to transmit rescue signals; a propeller included in the ring to steer the ring in certain directions; and a weight detector included in the ring to detect if there is a sudden drop of weight of the ring to indicate the child is being unsafe.

摘要: The Wearable Satellite Tracker (WST) is a worn by the operator and carries a two-way satellite transceiver that communicates to a Central Tracking Monitor a message with; a unique serial number of the device, position information (via GPS receiver), and the status of the WST. It requires no local equipment, local power or monitoring personal. Because it does not relay on any local equipment, cellular or any local network it can therefore can be used anywhere in the world. The system provides for test messages which give an acknowledgement that the complete system is working. It can be embedded into a personal floatation device for use on water or into a utility belt for use on land. The alarm can be triggered with a water sensor, panic button for the operator and/or other sensors as require by the operation environment. The Central Tracking Monitor will register test messages the WST has passed and for alarms it will alert persons or organizations as required. The ability to send and receive a system check message from the Central Tracking Monitor by the operator gives a high degree of confidence of the WST working in an alarm state.

摘要: An aquatic rescue apparatus including a base, housing connected to the base which includes at least one alarm mechanism contained therein, a triggering mechanism positioned on the housing and connected to the alarm mechanism, and a flotation device releasably connected to the triggering mechanism. Upon the flotation device being removed from the triggering mechanism, at least one alarm mechanism emits an alarm signal indicative of an aquatic emergency.

摘要: In a small boat emergency stop apparatus having an operator's cockpit and a passenger seat installed spaced apart from the cockpit, there are provided with an operator transmitter wearable by the operator to transmit a radio-wave signal of a predetermined strength, a passenger transmitters wearable by the passenger to transmit a radio-wave signal of the same predetermined strength and a receiver installed at a location closer to the cockpit than the passenger seat to receives the radio-wave signals transmitted by the operator and passenger transmitters successively. It is identified which of the operator and the passenger is a wearer of the transmitter and is then discriminated whether strength of the radio-wave signal transmitted from the identified wearer is smaller than a predetermined value. When it is, it is discriminated that emergency occurred in the wearer and an emergency action of engine stopping or engine speed reducing is performed.
