摘要: Systems and methods for indicating a navigable area that is reachable by a watercraft with a current amount of energy is provided. The system comprises a display, a processor and a memory, including a computer code configured to, when executed by the processor, cause the system to receive position data indicating a current geographic location of a watercraft; receive tidal data for the current geographic location of the watercraft; determine, based on energy remaining data, an estimated available travel distance for operating a motor of the watercraft before the watercraft runs out of energy; and generate an overlay for a chart. The overlay comprises a boundary area corresponding to the estimated available travel distance and the effect of the tide on the watercraft. The computer code further presents the overlay on the chart to visually indicate travel options from the current geographic location.

摘要: The present disclosure discloses a system wherein coin-sized beacons can be attached to marine and other hazards such as buoys, shipwrecks, jetties and the like. The beacons can also be configured to a user's life jacket or other intimate item worn by divers or passengers. The beacon is equipped with an ability to emit sound/radio or light (Bluetooth or otherwise) waves that are detected by a user's receiving device hardware located aboard a vessel to alert the user of an approaching hazard. The signal can be configured to provide the location or distance and proximity to the vessel of the beacon and contact information of the beacon's registered owner. The beacon can continuously transmit these signals to alert oncoming vessels of the location of the beacon, or aid in the recovery of an overboard passenger or keep track of underwater divers. Further, the receiving device hardware can be adapted to a vessel's navigation system to automatically avoid marine hazards using the vessel's autopilot system.

摘要: The present invention provides an anchor alarm device which is a manually deployed weighted device attached to or near the anchor which signals to device equipment at water-level. The device detects the movement of, or physical force generated by, a dislodged anchor. When deployed, a component of the anchor alarm device rests adjacent to or as part of a seated anchor at a distance predetermined by the tolerance of the secondary rode. The secondary rode connects the device directly to the anchor, or near the anchor on the primary rode. Upon displacement of the set anchor, in excess of the secondary rode, the device alerts the user. The device utilizes sensor monitoring inside of a housing component to detect a force indicative of anchor displacement. This detection triggers a signals emission which alerts the user of the change in position. In cases wherein the anchor is not immediately retrieved, device re-arms autonomously and stops emission of the alarm signal until the next anchor displacement. The system communicates with signal devices on board or deployed near the anchoring vessel in order to alert the user.

摘要: A paddle apparatus for use by a user, of a vessel, to propel the vessel through water may include a shaft having a first end and a second end that is opposite of the first end; a first blade that is attached to the first end; a handle or a second blade that is attached to the second end; and an electronic communication device that is integrated within or attached to the handle, the shaft, or the second blade. The electronic communication device may enable the user to communicate with another user or authorities via a network or over the air.

摘要: An apparatus provides a warning of propeller rotation or CO/CO2 hazard in a marine craft and includes a sensor in communication with the propeller to directly or indirectly sense rotation of the propeller and to generate a signal in response to the hazard, a controller coupled to the sensor to process the signal from the sensor, and a sensory alarm coupled to the controller to generate a warning alarm signal when the sensor returns a signal indicative of a predetermined state of hazard, namely actual rotation of the propeller from a nonzero rpm to a user or factory defined rpm or CO/CO2 levels at or above a predetermined maximum.

摘要: A variable volume raft containing adjustable ratio and amounts of air and or water. The buoyancy and ballast of the raft are routinely adjusted to accommodate additional occupants and changing weather conditions. A manual pump can be the primary or back up source for initial inflation. The torque pump twisted by hand or amplified by a lever arm generates air pressure for maintenance and repairing deflating lacerations at sea. The pumps collector gathers and pressurizes rain water for drinking in one chamber while pressurizing sea water as a stabilizing ballast in another chamber. A double hull or full floor chamber allows huge variations in buoyancy or ballast as dictated by changing needs for stability versus mobility. A compressed liquid or two-part foam confers puncture resistance to a portion of the raft. A thrown self-righting manual air horn, worn water-activated air horns and water activated transmitted signals, mark the site for rescuers.
