摘要: An electric commercial vehicle power steering system includes an input shaft, an electric motor, and a planetary gear set, a drive coupling, and an output shaft. A first one of a sun gear, a planet carrier, and a ring gear of the planetary gear set is connected to and rotatable with a rotor of the electric motor, and a second one of the sun gear, the planet carrier, and the ring gear of the planetary gear set is connected to and rotatable with a first gear of the drive coupling. A second gear of the drive coupling is connected to and rotatable with the input shaft. A globoidal worm drive is arranged between the input shaft and the output shaft. The globoidal worm drive couples the input shaft to the output shaft such that the output shaft is rotatable with the input shaft via the globoidal worm drive.

摘要: A steering device includes a cylindrical support tube that rotatably supports a steering shaft, a speed reducer configured to apply a torque to the steering shaft, and a housing that includes a cylindrical portion housing the speed reducer. A flange of the support tube and the cylindrical portion are disposed coaxially and coupled to each other with a bolt. A bearing support member is fitted to an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion. The steering shaft extends through the bearing support member. A bearing is disposed between an outer peripheral surface of the steering shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the bearing support member. The bearing support member includes a deformation allowing portion configured to allow elastic deformation of the bearing support member in a radial direction.

摘要: An apparatus for use in turning at least one steerable vehicle wheel includes a steering member rotatably supported in a housing. The steering member rotates relative to the housing about a first axis to effect turning movement of the at least one steerable vehicle wheel. A ball nut is connected with an externally threaded portion of the steering member. The steering member is rotatable relative to the ball nut assembly to axially move the ball nut assembly relative to the housing. An electric motor is operable to apply a rotational force to the steering member to urge the steering member to rotate relative to the housing. The electric motor has an output shaft extending along a second axis extending generally parallel to the first axis. A first gear is rotatable about the second axis with the output shaft of the motor. A second gear in meshing engagement with the first gear is rotatable about a third axis extending transverse to the second axis. A third gear is rotatable with the second gear about the third axis. A fourth gear in meshing engagement with the third gear is rotatable with the steering member relative to the housing.

摘要: A worm gearbox having a worm wheel is arranged, in a torsionally resistant manner, on a steering shaft and rotates around a steering axis. A worm shaft is supported to rotate around a rotational axis, with the worm shaft having an end on the engine side and an end away from the engine. Worm toothing engages the teeth of the worm wheel and when the worm shaft rotates around the rotational axis, the worm wheel and the steering shaft rotate around the steering axis. A gearbox housing supports the worm wheel and the worm shaft and allows them to rotate. A compensating element has a middle section, a rear end section connected to the gearbox housing and a front end section retaining the end away from the engine of the worm shaft or a holder accommodating the end away from the engine of the worm shaft.
