    Abstract: A vehicle front portion structure includes: a dash panel separating a power unit compartment provided at a lower portion of a vehicle front portion from a cabin; a partition wall having a lower end portion secured to a vehicle rear end portion of the dash panel and extending in a vehicle upward direction to divide the cabin into a front portion and a rear portion; a front portion vehicle seat disposed on the dash panel; a seat support member supporting the front portion vehicle seat from a vehicle lower side and having a front end portion secured to the dash panel and a rear end portion secured to the partition wall; and an autonomous driving unit, at least part of the autonomous driving unit being disposed in an area surrounded by the dash panel, the partition wall, and the seat support member.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly part for connecting a dashboard to a body part of a vehicle, the assembly part comprising:



    a male first portion able to engage with the dashboard, and
    a female second portion able to engage with the body part of the vehicle via a unidirectional and adjustable approaching movement,
    the male portion being substantially flat and extending in a longitudinal direction from a first end in contact with the female portion to a hook-shaped free second end,
    the male portion and/or the female portion being configured to prevent translational movement between the dashboard and the body part when the male portion is engaged with the dashboard and the female portion is engaged with the body part.

    Abstract: A workstation includes a dashboard for a vehicle having a recess on an upper surface, a first display screen extending from the dashboard, and a second display screen that is deployable between a stowed position within the recess in the dashboard and an extended deployed position aligned proximate to the first display screen. A control arm operatively couples the first display screen with the second display screen, wherein the control arm pivots about a pivot axis to deploy the second display screen proximate to the first display screen. The workstation has a deployable desk that pivots between a stowed position proximate to the dashboard and an extended deployed position forward of the dashboard, wherein the desk in the stowed position covers the second display screen.

    Abstract: In an automobile vehicle body structure, a steering hanger is formed from a metal pipe on one side in a vehicle width direction and a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) pipe on the other side in the vehicle width direction, and a steering column is supported on the metal pipe, for ensuring the strength with which the steering column is supported while minimizing any increase in the weight of the steering hanger. The metal pipe is connected to a CFRP linking member connecting an upper part of a dash panel lower and a center tunnel. The collision load of a frontal collision input is transmitted into the dash panel lower to the high strength center tunnel for preventing the dash panel lower from collapsing to the rear while minimizing any increase in the weight, and for enhancing the stiffness of the steering hanger to prevent vibration of the steering column.
