A snow raft comprises a plurality of adjustable speed control studs to control the speed of the raft wherein adjustments are made by way of threading and unthreading the studs located within threaded sockets.

A sliding recreational device having a body, a seating area for a passenger, and a sliding pan mounted on the bottom of the body is disclosed. A cushioning element mounted in the body protects a passenger from injury while riding the device. By applying certain patterns to the bottom of the sliding pan, a stable, more predictable ride path is made possible for the rider. The addition of a system of pivoting braking elements and cabling enable a passenger to steer and brake the device.

An inflatable tube ski vehicle with steering mechanism comprises an inflated, torus- or delta-shaped tube or bladder and a ski insert disposed in the central opening of the bladder. The ski insert may be dish-shaped, or it may partially wrap around the top and/or bottom of the bladder. In either case, the ski vehicle has a steering/braking mechanism comprising left and right lever arms pivotally attached to and extending down through the ski insert. To turn, a rider simply pulls on one of the lever arms, causing a lower portion of the lever arm to extend past a bottom of the insert. To brake, both arms are pulled simultaneously. Because the ski vehicle is generally round and because the weight of the vehicle and rider are largely uniformly distributed over the center of the vehicle, a pivot or fulcrum point occurs directly under the rider's seat, affording a significant degree of control.

A cushion slider toy is described which includes at least one inflatable tube in the form of an annular ring and a covering member which surrounds and encloses the inflatable tube. The top of the covering member forms a flat surface which serves as a seat for a person to sit on while riding the cushion slider toy. Handles may also be attached to the covering member. The cushion slider toy may be used to slide on snow or it may be used on water.

The invention relates to an inflatable device capable of acting as a glide medium for at least one person, which can in particular be used for bodyboard devices for gliding over water or snow. The device includes at least one first bag made of a flexible material, having a means for feeding a fluid therein and capable of being inflated by said fluid, at least one stabilization means connected to the first bag and capable of being arranged between or rigidly connected to the upper portion of the legs of a person, and means for positioning the hands, preferably arranged on the first bag. Thus, the proper stabilization of the device beneath the person during a gliding phase is ensured.

The cover for inflatable tube includes a hollow, toroidal member made from a durable, puncture-resistant, abrasion-resistant fabric, the toroidal member being adapted fur covering an inflatable float tube. The cover may also include a plurality of spaced, elongate, flexible eyelets are formed about a periphery of the cover portion on the outer surface and are arranged to extend radially about the periphery of the cover. The cover may further include a flat bottom member the extends across the annular opening defined by the toroidal member, providing a flat surface so that the tube may be used for sledding on snow-covered surfaces, or to prevent swimmers from extending their torsos through the tube, thereby permitting the swimmers to sit on the bottom sheet instead of dangling their feet below the tube, presenting the risk that the swimmer's foot may be entrapped by underwater obstructions in a river or other shallow water.
