A cargo restraining system has a frame and a cargo net carried on the frame. The frame and the cargo net are displaceable between a first position partitioning a cargo area from a passenger area of a motor vehicle and a second position overlying cargo supported on a cargo area floor of the motor vehicle. A related method is also disclosed.

The invention relates to a method for producing a separation net and to a separation net (10), in particular for vehicle interiors, which has a net-like, tear-resistant textile web (11) formed of textile threads (12), which is cut to any peripheral contour, wherein the loose ends (13) of the textile threads (12) that were created by a separating cut are securely bound at the edges in a plastic material of a single-layered edge strip (18). The textile web (11) can have any peripheral contour, and the loose ends (13) of the textile threads (12) of the textile web (11) that were created by a cutting to size are embedded at least at the side edges (16, 17).

A layout system for a cargo area of a vehicle includes a divider and cargo side-trims. The divider includes a first rod, a second rod, and a screen. The cargo side-trims are installed in the vehicle to form sidewalls of the cargo area. The cargo side-trims include rails that include guide rail portions and rail-side securing portions. The guide rail portions are for guiding end portions of the first and the second rods along a front-rear direction of the vehicle. The guide rail portions include horizontal portion and extending portions that extend from the respective horizontal portions toward a lower rear of the vehicle. The rail-side securing portions are connected to the guide rail portions, respectively. The rail-side securing portions are for holding the end portions of the first and the second rods to secure the first and the second rods to the cargo side-trims.

Some embodiments are directed to a vehicular door assembly that includes a door that is movable between the open and closed positions, and a window panel assembly that includes interior member, a frame member surrounding the interior member, and a plurality of connector assemblies. A interior member mount assembly includes a bracket, a spring guide, and a spring. The bracket includes a base portion rigidly connected to the door, and a flange portion that defines an aperture and that extends at an angle relative to the base portion. The spring guide is movable within the aperture. A first end of the spring is connected to the bracket, and a second end of the spring is connected to the spring guide. The spring guide is connected to one of the plurality of connector assemblies, such that the spring guide is movable within the aperture as the door moves between open and closed positions.

A restraint device for a vehicle interior has a flexible planar structure movably mounted between a rest position and an extended function position and that is provided at its end area with a dimensionally stable pulling-out section, and the restraint device has at least one roof-side holder in which the pulling-out section is detachably fixed by at least one complementary securing section in the extended function position of the planar structure. The roof-side holder includes a receptacle and a stationary locking pawl arrangement mechanically matched to a movement distance of the at least one securing section during transfer from the rest position to the function position. The securing section during its upward travel presses the locking pawl arrangement into the release position, and the securing section enters the receptacle and the locking pawl arrangement automatically moves back into its locking position as soon as the securing section has entered the receptacle.

The seat has a seat base and a backrest and is movable along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle between first and second positions. The first position is closer to a front of the vehicle than the second position. A lateral restraining member is fixed to the seat on one side of the seat. At least a portion of the lateral restraining member is disposed higher than the seat base and forward of the backrest. The lateral restraining member is movable with the seat between the first and second positions.

A storage apparatus for storing objects inside or on a vehicle when the roof is either secured or remove which positions between support members, such as a roll bar. Objects are secured between two mesh barriers that are flexible and adjustable. At least one tube forms a rectangular frame for the apparatus. The tubes join with ninety degree fittings to form a substantially rectangular shape. A shelf netting stretches across the tubes to form a flexible platform for supporting the objects. Attachment straps secure the tubes to the support member. A retention barrier wraps around the tubes to provide protection. A retention net overlays the shelf netting to sandwich the objects in between. The retention net includes a nylon border that also secures to the support member with hook and loop straps and clips. A handle provides a gripping surface for supporting a user.
