Abstract:
A writing instrument includes a first reservoir for dispensing a first fluid having a first property of reflectivity. A first tip member is in fluid connection with the first reservoir. The first tip member has an end with a size and shape that corresponds to a response area of the response form. A second reservoir can be used for dispensing a second fluid, which is capable of modifying the first property of reflectivity when covering the first fluid. A second tip member is in fluid connection with the second reservoir. The second tip member has an end with a size and shape that corresponds to the response area of the response form.
Abstract:
Aqueous hard surface cleaner compositions useful for removing permanent ink are disclosed. The compositions comprise 75 to 99 wt. % of water; 0.1 to 5 wt. % of a monoterpene; 0.1 to 5 wt. % of a C10-C17 fatty acid derivative; and 0.1 to 5 wt. % of one or more surfactants. The fatty acid derivative is selected from N,N-dialkyl amides, N,N-dialkyl esteramines, and N,N-dialkyl amidoamines. Preferably, a base such as sodium carbonate or monoethanolamine is also included. The invention includes concentrates comprising the non-aqueous components recited above, as well as other applications for the cleaners and concentrates such as graffiti removers and permanent ink erasers. The combination of a monoterpene and certain fatty acid derivatives, especially fatty N,N-dialkyl amides, unexpectedly enables even dilute aqueous compositions to rapidly decolorize black permanent marker from hard, non-porous surfaces.

Abstract:
In a method, a response sheet is provided to a user. The response sheet includes a machine-readable form having a number of response areas where the user can provide responses. After being received from the user, the response sheet has ones of the response areas marked by the user with a non-reflective fluid and also has other ones of the response areas being marked by the user with a reflective fluid. The received response sheet includes response areas marked with the non-reflective and the reflective fluid that were not marked in the provided response sheet. Responses provided by the user can be determined using an optical reading apparatus.
Abstract:
A combination pen with correction marker providing a user with a writing utensil and a correction method in a single device. The combination pen with correction marker includes a tubular body, an ink cartridge housed within the tubular body, a pen tip connected to an end of the ink cartridge to dispenses an ink supply from within the ink cartridge, a twisting grip coupled with a plunger mechanism attached to an open end of said tubular body. The plunger mechanism moves the pen tip from an extended position and a retracted position when turning the twisting grip. The combination pen with correction marker further includes a correction reservoir fastened to an opposing end of the ink cartridge, which stores a supply of correction ink, and a sponge inserted within the correction reservoir wherein the sponge dispenses the supply of correction ink from the correction reservoir.
Abstract:
A writing instrument, which has an inner and outer writing element with separate writing medium reservoirs. The writing elements are coaxially mounted in an outer barrel and axially moveable with respect to one another. A driving mechanism may be actuated to allow a user to selectively extend one writing element. The inner and outer writing elements may have an inner sleeve therebetween to improve, for instance, rigidity of the outer writing element and to prevent contamination of the writing medium reservoirs. An outer sleeve may also be provided over the outer writing element. The outer sleeve can function to hold various components of the outer writing element together, and to allow for clean and easy refill of the outer writing element, especially when the outer writing element is a nib-type writing element with a filler-type reservoir. The writing instrument is designed so that a user can replace the inner and/or outer writing elements when their respective writing medium have been expended.
Abstract:
The disclosure is generally related to a decoder system and, more particularly, to a decoder system comprising a coding composition, a decoding composition and optionally, an erasing composition. The disclosure also provides decoder writing instrument systems comprising a coding writing point in fluid communication with a coding composition, a decoding writing point in fluid communication with a decoding composition and optionally, an erasing writing point in fluid communication with an erasing composition.

Abstract:
The disclosure generally relates to fluid dispensers, and more particularly to fluid dispensers comprising a container defining a fluid reservoir and having an opening and a dual applicator assembly removably attached to the container, the dual applicator assembly comprising a cap adapted to substantially seal the opening, a writing point disposed in the cap, a stem coupled to the cap, the stem having first and second ends and including a channel through the first end, the channel defining a fluid passageway between the writing point and the fluid reservoir, and an applicator coupled to the second end.
