    摘要: An inking unit for a rotary printing machine, a frame and a plurality of rollers. The plurality of rollers includes two inking rollers fixedly mounted to the frame so as to be spaced from one another, and a transfer roller mounted between the two inking rollers. Bearing levers are pivotably mounted to one of the two inking rollers. The transfer roller is mounted to the bearing levers so as to be pivotable between an operating position between the two inking rollers and a pivoted-out position away from the two inking rollers. Roller holders are provided for adjustably holding the transfer roller on the bearing levers. Finally, an apparatus is provided for compensating for the holding weight of the transfer roller and the bearing levers during pivoting.

    摘要: A cylindrical ink roller rotates as a result of being in tangential line contact with an adjacent roller that is driven rotationally. The roller is suspended for rotation and axial oscillation on bearing cages including bushing for turning and sliding on the shaft. A plurality of springy curved steel wire ribs have corresponding one ends fastened to the bushing and the ribs extend axially for their corresponding opposite ends to fasten to a ring member which fits inside of the roller. The ribs flex or bend slightly to allow the roller to be forced into perfect parallelism with the adjacent roller. The open ribbed roller suspension cages afford free flow of air axially through the roller for cooling it. One or more fans can be installed in the roller. A mechanism for oscillating the roller axially is confined inside of the roller and so designed that cooling air can flow past it.

    摘要: There is described an ink wiping system (100; 100′; 100″) of an intaglio printing press comprising a wiping tank (101) and a rotatable wiping roller assembly (102; 102*) supported on and partly located in the wiping tank (101) for wiping excess ink from the surface of a rotatable intaglio printing cylinder (80) of the intaglio printing press. The ink wiping system (100; 100′; 100″) comprises a wiping roller retracting device (150) which forms an integral part of the ink wiping system (100; 100′; 100″) and is adapted to be coupled to the wiping roller assembly (102; 102*) to move the wiping roller assembly (102; 102*) between a working position (W) where the wiping roller assembly (102; 102*) is supported on and partly located in the wiping tank (101) for cooperation with the intaglio printing cylinder (80) and a parking position (P) where the wiping roller assembly (102; 102*) is retracted out of the wiping tank (101) and away from the intaglio printing cylinder (80). In the working position (W) of the wiping roller assembly (102; 102*), the wiping roller retracting device (150) is coupled to the wiping roller assembly (102; 102*). The ink wiping system (100; 100′; 100″) further includes, at the parking position (P), a storage section (110) adapted to receive the wiping roller assembly (102; 102*) which is retracted by the wiping roller retracting device (150).

    摘要: To permit, selectively, thicker or thinner ink films being transferred from an inker supply (1, 2) having a doctor blade (2) to a plate cylinder (10) via ink application rollers (8, 9) and an ink roller train, without readjustment of the position of the doctor blade (2) with respect to the ink roller (1), the ink roller train has a main train of ink rollers, and auxiliary trains or sets of paired ink rollers, the main ink roller train being so arranged that some of the rollers can be physically shifted to define a gap in the ink transfer path through the main roller train, and, instead, the gap is bridged by rollers of the auxiliary roller train (B). Inserting more rollers, serially, in the path of ink between the ink roller (1) and the plate cylinder (10) provides for a thin film of ink for offset printing; a lesser number of rollers provides a thick film of ink, for example for use in di-litho printing.
